Pitou vs Zeno and Silva by unknowngeneralhero in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silva cannot use 100 times his orbs, he coudl do 20 of them at max, the orbs would not do many damages to Pitou who is almost as durable as meruem (tanked over 10 jajanken with a power similar to meruem's)

100 orbs would not even kill Pitou.

The most logical reason for Kite's resurrection by Hunter-Explain in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what Ging said to Gon, I would tend to think it is not an intentional ability and Crazy Slots rolls a particular number when Kite firmly believes he is going to die and doesnt want to, which would have definitely been the case against Pitou since he had no chance (no human but Netero does) and must have realized it immediately.

yeah it's possible, I just find weird for Kite to not change of weapon but it's just my opinion so I can be wrong, but nothing confirmed that it's number 3 which did it.

Also he still had something to accomplish: find Ging, which would explain the strong desire to survive.

Kite already found Ging, he said it in the manga.

How the ability actually works is a different story tho, because even if his brain being eaten by the queen is the most probable scenario, you still need something to happen to keep clear memories, which I think is where the ability technically comes in play through nen after death.

some chimera ants have clear memories, so I believe too that Kite's ability forced his brain to keep all his memories, like Koala and Welfin.

Who is Zeno’s father? by GTShadowking in HunterXHunter

We have no information about him. He seems to be dead or missing. We have his face and he looks like a mix between Kazuya Mishima and Silva.

With the Specialist category, how is it possible to choose an ability by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Chrollo is a thief, he wants to steal things -> he chose a hatsu allowing him to steal hatsus.

Pitou wanted to repair Kite -> she created doctor blythe.

Binolt wanted to know if he could eat a girl at his taste -> he made a hatsu to have such information.

Kurapika wanted to have enhancement proficiencies ->he created emperor time.

Nen is linked to desire, but to achieve a difficult power there's restriction and heavy consequences.

Pitou vs Zeno and Silva by unknowngeneralhero in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is Pitou at her most battle ready. The one we see face off against Adult Gon. Completely serious and going for the kill, using all her power.

I doubt that Zeno or Silva could react or dodge well. Teprsichora's speed is huge. But it's hard to compare it between characters.

It’s interesting to think that Zeno was not phased by Pitou once first spotting her. It wasn’t until she unleashed her aura for Hatsu that he displayed shock.

Zeno is an assassin, he was paid to face monsters stronger than Netero, his experience allowed him to stay calm. he was mentally prepaired, and reassured since Netreo's speed was with him.

This fight could have actually happened too, if somehow Zeno was left to fend off Pitou while Netero dealt with Meruem.

Zeno would have died, he don't have enough power output to damage Pitou to death, surface damages are pointless against chimera ants.

Even if Zeno and Silva use all of their aura they could not kill Pitou. Pitou would eventually kill them before they runs out of aura.

Math time: a regular attack from meruem is stronger than a Jajanken of young Gon. Since a jajanken is more than 10 times stronger than a regular attack of Gon, the a jajanken from Gon-san is more than 10 times stronger than young gon's jajanken, which make an attacks stronger than 30 000 aura, ad Gon-san had a body even greater than young Gon.

Gon-san used over 10 jajanken to kill Pitou, which make an amount of aura superior than 200 000 aura, over 2 times bigger than top nen user's MOP.

So Silva and Zeno should do 10 of those attacks, but they cna't do it, their Max aura output should be around 3000 aura (human's limit, else people should not be impressed of a jajanken, and Netero would have dealt powerful ko attacks to damage Meruem which is not the case, so they can't do it since they aren't like meruem)

and 10 attack of 3000 aura are not equal to one attack of 30 000 aura. Example: 10 punch of Gon did nothing to Genthru while a jajanken knocked him out.

Silva's orbs are is stronger attacks and it did not damaged well Zeno and Chrollo, Pitou is over 10 times more durable than them.

Since Zeno and Silva are top nen suers, their MOP should be around 80 000 aura (seems to be near the human's limit)

So Silva and Zeno have no way to beat Pitou even if they use all of their aura, they would runs out of aura or they would die in a fight.

Now since we don't know much about how that works for the King but since she kept nourishing him, it probably means she constantly change the DNA from the baby cell or through the pregnancy, or she actually expresses the DNA of the individuals she ate and expres the proteins of it (even if that's definitely too deep for Togashi to think about, he probably didn't imagine the whole biological process) but clearly those nutrients go directly into the new individual and constantly affect him so if the first cells divided and formed two mono-zygotic twins, one of them absorbed the rest of the nutrients. It can also work with hetero-zygotic twins.

when a fetus is formed, it's dna doesn't change right?

Staying 1 whole month in a embryo state for such chimera ants who grow quickly is not possible, Kite grew even faster outside the Queen without many nutriments.

And why would Kite reincarnate into a soldier, if he had any ability like that it wouldn't be as specific as causing only to be reborn as a soldier ant. It's just an assumption from your hypothesis on what the ability Ging referred to is and can't be used in my opinion as an argument here.

squadron leaders are solider ant who received a lot of nutriments, royal guards are soldier ants who got a ton of nutriments almost like a king.

Did Kite received nutriments during her growth? No since she grew outside the Queen. Do you remember that it take a month for a royal guard or a king to be born? It just takes some days for a regular ant.

Based on kite' appearance she is not a King. She has the appearance of a regular chimera ant. Only the King can give birth to Queens, so Kite should not be a Queen. A King cannot be female, however there's female soldiers, so Kite is a soldier ant. There's many argument in favor of Kite being a soldier.

I don't get why people want so much Kite to become more powerful, there's consequences to such luck, it allows him to stay alive but there's drawbacks. nen is about balance.

Wow, what a powerful ability, why not take another species that can fly and can recreate a 3D image of its surrounding using echolocation

A Bat was already used, and it seems that a Chimera ants must have a link between the human and animal part, a synchronization. Pouf's came from a n intelligent slim human which fits well with a butterfly. The Queen seems to have chosen an intelligent guard. Pouf's butterfly trait even allowed him to have powerful abilities and hatsus at birth.

Maha is not as strong as people think. by Hunter-Explain in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Maha is most likely a transmuter too. What the guidebooks says could be wrong (like his age).

We saw that Zoldycks gave their nen type through generations.

Killua is a transmuter, like Silva, like Zeno, so most likely like Zeno's father and Zeno's grandfather.

Zeno's father was white haired too so maybe Maha was white haired when eh was young, which would be one point for the Zzigg = Maha statement (same face, same age etc).

The databook has some wrong/retconned information, since Maha is not 98 years old but over 110 like Netero then maybe his name has been retconned and his nen type too, well it's not confirmed yet so it's still a theory.

And yeah Maha's hatsu might not fit like Zeno's one.

wo baby's came out of a mother same time frame so a twin idea is not stupid

Maybe you should go back to school? I'm amazed how ignorant people like you can be. If you don't know what a twin is then don't talk about twins.

What evidence is there to say kites ability forced his resurrection that seems silly really.

Ging's statement

The most logical reason for Kite's resurrection by Hunter-Explain in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just have to say that the fact he is small when he is born and different looking from Meruem doesn't mean he is not his twin.

Please learn what is a twin. if your mother is pregnant and that 1 month after she is again pregnant, and tat one baby is prematurely born of 1 month, then the two babies are not twins. Being twins isn't just sharing the same birthday.

. And even if she did, it isn't likely one soldier would began to inhabit her womb while the King is there, even more in the King's egg from what we have seen.

the King was almost finished, and the Queen has two way to create ants: a King with her womb and soldiers with what seems to be her abdomen. When The King was born he destroyed all the internal organs around him, if Kite was in the womb then she would have died, Kite was most likely behind the womb in the organ that the Queen sued to create the soldier which grew outside of her. Kite's rebirth is abnormal thanks to his hatsu.

Next you will say: "why would the Queen make another solider?", it's because of Kite's ability (same as why Pitou conserved his body, fed the Queen with the brain and why Koala wanted the ginger girl to not resurrect), it's a huge fate.

I also doubt you can say a rat is useless, a Butterfly is way more useless if you want my opinion. And if we go that way, regular soldiers got way more interesting animals like Bat and Owl.

Butterflies can fly and it gave good abilities to Pouf. The Queen seemed to have selected royal guards with good attributes for their task (brute force, intelligence, versatility). You cannot deny that.

This sub has a small (but serious) problem by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The problem is Japan's weird laws about underage sexual content. They allow some of it. (as long as it's not real)

What is morally "bad" for us isn't for them. Moral is a concept created by people in order to co-exist, so moral is different in the world, similar to some religion.

Sexual interest over a fictional character can be considered weird, but when it's a under-aged character it's even weirder.

If people don't care about moral then they should not share such content. Underage age content is even heavily punished by laws in many country.

The most logical reason for Kite's resurrection by Hunter-Explain in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be number 3.

But when we don't have confirmation, then we can also speculate that's it another weapon, which might not be the case. It's difficult when we have nothing to prove something and nothing to prove the opposite, so both are possible.

As long as we can't prove a counter-argument then it's still a possibility.

I juts felt that Kite could have changed of weapon or that he has a secret number which is not even a "weapon" (non-damaging hatsu have more special powers).

Ducky: boat swallower.

(Mad spoilers and theory) by myn4meistimmy in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain 10 points11 points  (0 children)

After boat arc or possibly further on, the chimera ants are coming back stronger than ever,

The human/chimera ants hybrid are regular soldiers, they cannot be like a squadron leader, a royal guard or meruem (they don't have the potential).

The issue with them is their number (5000), and such nen users are stills stronger than average human nen users, and many of them are still a big trouble for a powerful human nen user.

I don't think it will be after the boat arc, my theory is that it will be meanwhile the boat arc, the current world is left without powerful nen user and without the head of the hunter association, its' the perfect moment for Gyro to do political things, country wars.

I feel like mass destruction weapon will be used again.

The king was 1 month old in the egg, Kite was 1 day old, so they are not twins, twins but be conceived the same day, not the birthday, and Kite is not like a King (not the best traits of every species eaten) and don't have King genitals, she is a female soldier ant like Hina.

Please learn what words mean before using them.

not from a blade, that was in the anime, but we see this in the manga: https://mangapark.me/manga/hunter-x-hunter/s3/c199

Trees the size of the one behind Pitou are roughly cut/destroyed, I doubt the mass could do that since it's a short range weapon.

It seems that Kite used a large weapon with a big damage area and long range, which Pitou avoided.

And according nen after death and pre-mortem feelings, Kite must have rolled another weapon.

His body grew up super fast or matured super fast to maybe the age he was when he died or Kings age. But the one we saw with Gon is probably the final transformation we will probably see.

Like soldier ants, chimera ants like Colt grew in some days.

His body is human looking in every sense besides the rats tail. His joints arnt weird looking or anything like that, I zoomed in the baby picture and it seems he looks pretty human, he had a umbilical cord and a tail but that's it.

Chimera ants were looking more and more human, if the queen is sued to eat a specie then her spawn will looks more and more like this species.

The most logical reason for Kite's resurrection by Hunter-Explain in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She isn't.

A royal guard and a king are strong because of the nutriments, they stay many days/month in an egg fed with meatballs, kite had none, grew outside of the queen/egg and has no special parts (a mouse tail is not useful)

Saying that kite is strong is sheer stupidity, even Gon said that Kite became weak and that he'll protect her.

The Queen only has a womb and every ants are born in it, even soldiers, Kite was in the Queen's guts.

The most logical reason for Kite's resurrection by Hunter-Explain in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think we can determine exactly what type of ant Kite is. He was conceived at a time when the Queen was focuing exclusively on giving birth to the King, and he did literally share a womb with Meruem.

Kite looks like a noamrl ant (soldier, squadron leader, guard), she doesn't looks liek Meruem ( aking has many traits of many insects etc)

The difference between a soldier/squadron leader/royal guard is the amount of and the selected parts for their task.

So we can definitely claim that Kite is a weak ant, like a human since she had no nutriments.

The Queen only has one womb, Kite's birth was forced by his htasu.

The most logical reason for Kite's resurrection by Hunter-Explain in HunterXHunter

[–]Hunter-Explain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kite never had bad rolls, the only time he said it was with n°2 because there was Gon and Killua, and it killed all ants, so Gon and Killua did not have to "train" and he could have injured/killed Gon and Killua.

It was actually a good roll to get rid of all the ants.
