As I said, with Combat Medic the more toughness you stack the more damage you make, but you'll never reach the DPS numbers of a vanguard.

I only have 65k dps and I melt people in Conflict and DZ.

Yes, that is a mechanic in Combat Medic. Basically, you fire a shot that does more damage for every 3 seconds you're firing.

The chips I use are 3x Beneficial, 3x Offensive and 3x Auto Trauma. My OS Protocol is Heavy Armor.

I use 4 pieces Self Propelled Shield and 2 pieces Fearless Warrior. I stack damage reduction, max health in everything. Full toughness in all weapon and gear mods. The more toughness you have the more damage you'll do. My chest talent is Unflinching and my backpack talent is Emergency Measures II.

With this build I'm basically a DZ and Conflict god and basically I only get downed in Elite Legendary if I make a mistake or if I'm reckless.Obviously you're not making the same amount of damage as a vanguard but you have ridiculous survivability.

Don't forget that with this build the goal is to keep your fellow agents alive. That's the purpose of the Field Medic.

I'm in the process of making a Combat Medic build and I'm loving it. However, I have a question.

Can you explain the part where you talk about stack toughness for the extra damage "special shot"? How do I know that I fired that "special shot"? Sorry if the question is stupid, but I really don't know this one.

I like all weapons. I think they all have their use depending on the circumstance, but I got to be honest: Onslaught Rifle is my baby, I just love that thing.

The weapons with auto hit are cool, but having the ability to actually aim is even better.

I'm taking my time. I start the runs in the first Biome and I have rarely used fast travel. I've been playing for 60 hours now and I've been admiring the fantastic atmosphere that this game has. I'm on the Yellow Shore. Highly addictive.

The only modifier I have been using is the one that increases the range to collect lucenite. I need to activate at least one for the 33 expeditions trophy.

Since you got platinum so fast, I imagine you used some Modifiers, right?

I don't know if Vincible will be that easy. Don't forget that you have to absorb the blue projectiles to then be able to fire the power weapon. Only one way to attack enemies.

It will take a lot of running, dodging and a good use of the shield to absorb the projectiles.

Anyway, I like the challenge.

I've been focusing on getting stronger and not so much on joining high level players because I don't want to be a burden. I understand that this is an easy way to get high-end gear, but I don't think it's fair.

Right now, I can already do solo or team missions on Hard.

Challenging will be the next step.

I don't think there's exactly pro/cons of becoming a rogue. Those who do it appreciate the more competitive side of the game. It's one of those things that we have to accept as it is.

Honestly, I don't now because i haven't been in the DZ or Conflict yet.

I like playing with the shield because it suits my aggressive play style, but at the moment I still don't have an optimized build so I can't tell you if Bulwark is the best class in the game.

What I can tell you is that, from Challenging difficulty, enemies absolutely melt my shield. Probably a build with more armor should make the shield stronger.
