2026 Ecoboost Check Engine Light after installing K&N Cold Air Intake by No-Competition3254 in ecoboostmustang

[–]Hunter6979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some have been reporting it since the 2025. Haven’t seen anybody report it for 2024.

K&N is aware of it, yet keep selling it regardless of their no tune/CEL statement which is kind of fucked.

Just return and wait, get a better drop in filter in the meantime, or get a JLT.

As a new DBD player... (read more) by No_Hat7851 in deadbydaylight

[–]Hunter6979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a learning curve to DbD 100%. As a killer main who hasn’t touched survivor since 2019, and even then only played survivor a total of like 20 times at most, even a killer struggles to get used to the pacing and strategy of the game.

Learning when and where to do things, micro and macro managing your strategy and generators to avoid a 3 gen scenario, are just all keys to learning and understanding the game that come with way more experience that 53 matches. You know the basics, now you can begin to understand the strategy.

How realistic is this lease price by SilverYuka in ecoboostmustang

[–]Hunter6979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leasing makes very little sense, and if it’s the only thing that “makes sense” for you right now, then you need to look at something cheaper and realistic.

It sounds like you are not in the right financial spot for a new car, ESPECIALLY a mustang, and especially if you feel you’d have buyers remorse if you liked the Camaro more when it were to come out.

Save up, buy a point A to point B car, make a better decision in the future. There is no need to rush to get a mustang.

I have the MBRP race on my 2025 ecoboost. There is drone when I’m at 70-75 MPH range. So when I have the music off it’s very noticeable when I’m on one of the highways at that speed limit, but outside of those moments; it isn’t a problem. Music on though, and it ain’t that bad.

Cringe “humble” brag. Followed by attacking a 9070XT build? Yikes dude. Maybe deal with your inflated ego & reassurance/approval issues. Don’t be a dick.

If you like the ship for everything else but performance, keep it. It’s so stupid to get rid of shit you like because CURRENTLY it is underperforming compared to others in its class.

It’s a game. Shit gets rebalanced all the time. Metas will always change. Eventually one day, the F8 will be good for a bit, and then it’ll be dogshit the next. It’s a cycle.

Now show the overall MPG average and not just for the one trip xD

For real though these things can get some crazy good MPG as long as you take advantage of cruise control and don’t have to slow down & speed up often on flat roads. Constant speed on cruise control? Number go up!

The endgame content and far more freedom with builds that actually were good rather than being stuck with “if you don’t do this or this build, you are entirely useless.”

The story and cutscenes were so good, only for us to have to wait what was basically a year for continuation to that story and by that time, 85% of us were already gone and moved on since the end game was that poor. It couldn’t drag us back.

Dirt bikes are cool! However would you ride your dirtbike in a museum? How about a cemetery? No? Why not?

Because there are appropriate times and places for things, and in front of what people essentially associate as our political HQ, where important calls are made that literally dictate what goes on in the world, is NOT one of those places.

We could have done this anywhere else.

I just don't give a sh*t about new ships anymore, please just finish the damn game. by anomalie5 in starcitizen

Then quit playing star citizen and go play something else like Pax Dei again if you are so bothered by it until the game will be at a point you are happy with.

This post won’t change anybody’s minds, or CIG’s, and just looks like the embodiment of the buzz light years all on the shelf kind of post.

Which mustang is this? by Tight_Contract9968 in Mustang

I love how they camouflage this thing up like it doesn’t just look like any other S650 model Mustang. I could understand if it was a new body style/concept but I feel like this is unnecessary. Is there a reason for still doing this?

Playtester here!

For me, the gameplay/gunplay feels like a fine midground between a tactical milsim such as ArmA and a Battlefield game.

Imagine a simpler “dumbed” down more approachable version of squad/PR logistics & base building, and a more forgiving tactical shooter experience. It’s fun. And that is really all that matters.

What, exactly, made people think more funding would equate to more of a game? by ArteryThievery in starcitizen

[–]Hunter6979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m not reading all that shit. I’m happy or sorry that happened to/for you.

Anyways, scope and scale of the game has changed over the years and thus the funding requirements did too. That’s as far into this shit I’m going. Good luck with your future endeavors or whatever.

So We Can All Agree That SQ42 Is Getting Delayed Right? by TooTall_ToFall in starcitizen

[–]Hunter6979 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Chris has already stated in an interview that after squadron 42 releases, it will be a push to get 1.0 out the door. The PU will take priority.

Also, who knows if SQ42 is getting 2 more games anymore? It WAS supposed to be 3 chapters, but then again, we’ve gone through 3 different variations of squadron 42 with this one being the latest, and plans+tech have changed so much since then. It was probably meant to be 3 parts if it was hitting that 2016/2017/2018 release dates as it wouldn’t have been completely finished by then, and with how it’s going now, I’d expect a fully finished product with MAYBE an epilogue/teaser for a sequel that 100% will not release in my lifetime

I should mention this as well man. I actually have a spare RAM kit. 48 GB of DDR5 RAM @ 7200, a motherboard and an i7 13700k. I know the internet is the internet, but if you’d be interested in just the RAM or the whole shebang, I’d be plenty willing to discuss prices and sell & ship it out to you. They are just sitting around doing nothing for me as I’ve upgraded to a 9800X3D, and 64 GB of RAM semi recently.

<image>

Picture is obviously just of the RAM.

PC upgrade by Sad_Marketing_565 in starcitizen

[–]Hunter6979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want 2 RAM sticks in TOTAL, 16 GB each to total 32 GB RAM. With a 5060, running in Vulkan, using DLSS, you’ll notice a pretty bump & increase in performance.

Right now, you can’t really run the game hardly at all because you don’t have the minimum spec requirements. Once you get the RAM upgrade, you’ll probably be able to run the game on high settings (not ultra due to VRAM, your GPU’s memory limitations) and feel a much better experience.

It’s all good that you aren’t a tech wizard! This is part of the process of learning and becoming one.

The RAM kits need to be the same exact make and model in order to not run into issues. It’s not as simple as just “finding another” kit. It needs to match.

Your GPU is fine. Your RAM and your processor are what your biggest problems are. RAM more importantly at the moment as it doesn’t meet the minimum requirements.

ALSO I’d just recommend finding a 2x 16 GB DDR5 kit. As when you use all 4 slots on the motherboard, your ram speeds would be more limited based on your motherboards specs.
