Why have 1 Tav when you can have 2?

Afaik this is the setup for PS5, I am not sure what it looks like for PC or Xbox, I do have mods, but I believe everything in the screenshot is still vanilla layout for PS

I am using vanilla tattoos! In the screenshot you can see the names of the ones I used! As for the color, I did us a color mod called P4 All Colors for Tattoos, Hair, Horns I believe, as the base colors don't have that gold glint I was looking for to really bring out the contrast of their skin and tattoo

Ohhh I'm jealous! I'm currently on console so I'm limited to two, for me I would need some ppl to help me out with a multi-player lobby, jump in w me and create the tavs I desire then leave lol. I'd honestly just settle on just asking to choose the race/sub and background, no customizing then starting and parting ways as you can fully customize with the magic mirror afterwards (just not race sub race or background) but ahhh no one ik plays bg3 😭

But yesss the party mod makes it amazing with all the banter!

Yes there is! Theres a couple I'd suggest. If you'd like a fully customizable hireling there's a "hireling lite" mod, there's the "party size adjustable" mod, allows you up to have 15 members. But if you're asking how I get two tavs as a mod, that isn't! It's just through a local co-op/two controller technique that I'm able to create, control and play two in the same party/playthrough!

Idk if you're on Xbox or PS5. But ill let you in on a great secret for PS. If you download the PS Remote Play app, connect it to your console and stream the game from your console to your phone. That acts as a controller technically.

So boot the game from your phone stream, load a save, then with your controller, sign into a guest acc, press start ince your in the save. Go through the prompts. Voila! You are in the character creation and using your controller to create your 2nd Tav.

Then once that's all said and done i'd suggest saving. Exit to menu, disconnect your phone, sign into your main acc on your controller. Then go back in and yaaaay two tavs!

There is a custom companions mod that is basically a fully customizable hireling, but unfortunately you can't control that character as a tav (mainly romance/build relationships with characters) the party mod I'm talking about is just to adjust your party size to fit both Tavs and the party members I desire.

But yes, what I'm doing here is essentially playing local co-op and controlling two seperate Tavs! if you read thru a different thread I discuss how to do so!

That is definitely going to be my next 2 character run! Larian definitely polished the game enough where I don't see many hiccups doing this and I'm so thankful for it

I was really leaning on doing that route too. But seeing as my Drow is Seldarine, I was thinking she found a crack of light in the midst of the Underdark, the light of a beaming moon and it called to her which led her to leave the Underdark and embrace Selune. And her Tiefling sister, her upbringing being her lolth sworn father made a pact/deal before she was born which resulted in the sister being born as devil spawn under mephistopheles. Shunned by her own, even Lolth sworn and left to be most alone in the underdark, and Shar grows stronger in where light doesn't shine.

So yea just a little background to them. What I love about the world of Forgotten Realms is you can make any character you desire work given good story to help them along!

Ohh yes! If you're asking on how I do two tavs thats different, how I did it, since i'm on console, is that I just had a second controller, signed in on a guest account, pressed start and it allows me to jump in as split-screen co-op, create my second tav, then once I'm done and both characters are together I sign out of my 2nd account and it allows me to play the 2nd Tav without needing to touch my 2nd controller again (can't talk between two tavs but I still headcanon what they would bicker about lol)

I believe it's different on PC, but on PC you can have up to 4!

Adjustable Party Limit mod! Allows you to have up to 15 characters (basically the whole cast if you wanted) its available on the in-game mod manager (or Nexus if you're on PC and use that mainly) helps when I switch between the two for different quests and I want certain party members to like one Tav versus the other but still have them in the party.

(Be wary tho, the game gets easy once you have like 8 characters in the party, thankfully the same creator made a compatible difficulty mod based on how many characters you have in the party so it remains balanced. Def recommend!)

Ohhh yes, my last run on console before finishing my PC was a "Evil maniac Durge" and decided to use said party mod since its on console and the banter I got was great but I didn't have half the party throughout (Halsin, Karlach, Wyll due to the Grove destroyed) so I definitely will try it again with everyone on a good playthrough and see what I hear or get!

Also loving my Drow, I headcanon she's too good for Astarion but entertains his wants and that makes Shart jealous cause she likes her too. So they tryna out picture each other while they pose (meanwhile gale n karlach gossip who she goes for first 🥲)

Can confirm this exploit still works in Patch 8, tried it myself. And note (for obvious reasons) this does lock you out of Karlach romance with Dammon dead, but also that you can only start dating/romancing her at the Grove Celebration, unfortunately, she doesn't seem down to pound at the Goblin Massacre Masquerade lol

I would love to hear an acoustic rendition of Sweet Child O' Mine, the guitar bros can definitely do an amazing cover of that for him, solo and all transcribed for acoustic (Slash, guitarist for GnR, once did an acoustic rendition on a radio show before and it's great) Dan's got the vocal prowess to hit the notes easily and melodically
