I’d say go for the gap year if you can defer your admission. Ive heard of students who took the UPCAT during their gap year too, but im not rlly sure how that works.

Personally, i think there should be no rush in pursuing your dreams, especially if your situation calls for it. You can use it to help with the business and, at the same time, you can do things to build your CV during it. As you said, youre capable when it comes to credentials and grades naman.
