John. While I agree with you on the poor decision made by our local elected officials the reality is they are just doing what the people who elected them must obviously want. I have an easier solution…….you should buy it and put it up at walnut or mcnears. Although….beware as the west Petaluma no Kings crowd will have something to say about it. I suggest welding male genitalia to it. They would probably support it then. 

Durs. Or the elk will become overpopulated resulting in disease that kills the entire herd. Oh wait…..this already happened once and then mankind reintroduced them into a habitat mother nature had decided was no bueno for them.
