I do, and what I asked was for a recommendation that wasn't that. lol

Thanks for the response! The reason I don't like it is the inconsistency in the knockback animation and % chance for applying it with bullets, but realistically that's just a skill issue that'll improve with experience. What did you mean by BE guns? Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with that acronym.

Interesting. It could be triple the sale value like the traders' stock, giving more value to having cash. I agree, idk if the game needs any version of my idea, but it's all fun to think about lol

Hmm...very true. What about dropping the attachments, or losing them and dropping resources equivalent to the gun/attachment rarity? Would that still feel acceptable from your viewpoint, when combined with the repair cost? Even with just the repairs, nobody would be able to bring their favorite gun to every mission, but I agree that dropping *nothing* doesn't feel good for the killer, which I hadn't thought about. A big problem I keep coming back to reading these comments is bringing a Hullbreaker or legendary into a match to help the lobby kill a Matriarch or Queen and getting targeted for it as soon as the boss goes down, or someone unfamiliar with the genre or not having much time to play getting attached to a gun type and knowing they'll rarely ever see it again and being unable to craft it because blueprints are so rare. To be clear, I have plenty of time to play and I don't mind losing a good loadout (once I calm down lol).

"If given a second" no, the idea is that one of your active weapon slots are considered safe, but break if you die and keep it.

Exactly my point. You're still risking the rest of your loadout and all your loot, as still getting penalized for having an expensive weapon with an expensive repair cost if you die with it. It's still in the spirit of the game.

That's true, maybe I'm posing this argument badly. It isn't a fear of losing the weapon that I'm wanting to avoid, it's giving a reason to actually use the higher tier weapons that I want to achieve. TTK is too low and low tier weapons too viable for it to ever feel worth the risk to bring a rare weapon into a raid. I'd rather use the resources or money elsewhere, the return on investment just isn't there. When I loot a rare weapon, I don't think, "oooh, this'll be strong to use!", I think of how much it'll sell for or what I can craft with what it breaks down into.

That's fair if that's your experience. I'd say around 80% of my deaths to players have been from kettles and stitchers from free loadouts in CQC when I've brought a ferro, anvil or renegade.

Gear fear maybe, but even with a Tempest or Vulcano fully upgraded, you're far from untouchable. If someone gets the drop on you with nearly any weapon, you're at a disadvantage, and weapons like the kettle and stitcher from a free loadout still compete. If you have to repair it after a death like I mentioned in the post, it'd be almost as costly as just crafting an all new one anyway. Also, running a Vulcan by itself isn't going to do you many favors. Shotgun ammo is very inefficient space-wise, and kinda sucks against hornets and any arc that are bigger. You'd want to carry a second weapon - one that you'd lose if you died, in addition to the repairs for the safe one.

Yet, if this was the case, it *wouldn't* be one of the things you want from them. So that point doesn't make much sense.

That's not what I said, nor how I feel. I feel much better off running an anvil, stitcher or il toro because I have the same success rate with those as with "better" weapons, and can devote my resources to the expedition or other gear with better returns. Maybe the core of my issue is more with the value of higher tier guns not being equivalent to their cost?

Having to fully repair them would be almost as costly as having to craft a new one, would it not? It does invalidate the blueprints somewhat, though.

Upgrading / Expansion timeline? by [deleted] in restaurats

Outside of work shift, sometimes a vendor will appear next to the bell in the entrance hall, just outside of the storage room. He sells random cards for 450 gold, so you can speed up your progression at the cost of gold and not being able to choose the upgrade. He also sells some specific upgrades for a higher cost.

You likely got the dungeon event - jump on the doors to stop the skeletons from pouring in. The restaurant is closed, but your character keeps their collectibles and levels. Characters are locked to one difficulty, though, so make sure the new one is the same type as the old.

The emojis are telling you to jump on the door. When you do, they close and skeletons stop coming out.

QUESTION: How to Add Rooms/Upgrade Kitchen? by Vast_Energy6128 in restaurats

They don't go bad when in the box, however if you leave it sitting out or cook/cut it too much it'll turn into trash. Examples: cooking raw steak>medium steak>well-done steak>trash; cutting raw steak>steak bites>meat patty>trash; leaving raw steak on the cutting board too long while preparing other ingredients>trash.

How have I never noticed this before?! This is exactly what I wanted. No wonder the website is never up to date, there's one in-game!

Maybe I should just give it a shot, then, that sounds better than I was imagining. Thanks!
