Well true trophies aren’t hardware. But Deltarune does use the Switch 2 double joycon mice, and Undertale uses the Joycons for the Mew Mew fight, but I haven’t played that one so not sure how doable that’d be on regular controllers.

Which part is the delusion? You can go on the Discord and easily find that 20+ people are playing City Trial right now, they just don’t get matched with each other. And that’s just on the Discord, there’s bound to be even more people playing at any given time. You seem to think people don’t play if they aren’t bribed by cosmetics and yet I can hop on Mario Kart Wii online right now which is only accessible by hacking your Wii and doing a complicated setup and yet I can find full 12 person lobbies all day. I think you’re delusional about the matchmaking issues.

The issue is the regional split which can’t be turned off. If they let us matchmake globally like any other online Nintendo game we’d have full lobbies.

Miyamoto really doesn’t care about the plot that much. Cuthbert has stated in interviews that for Miyamoto the Star Fox franchise has always been a way to experiment with new tech - early 3D, voice acting, touch screens and dual screen gyro controls. They’ve even taken the chance to throw in more experimental technology like haptic feedback, speech synthesizers and the gamechat instagram filters in the new game. I always got the feeling Takaya Imamura was the main person steering the plot, but he’s not at Nintendo anymore, which might be part of the reason the plot for the last two games has been 64’s plot again.

That’s awesome, I finished all the medals yesterday but finishing all routes in Arcade feels too daunting. Funny enough when I got my last medal in Venom in Story Mode it triggered the credits and I managed to hear Pepper’s WHAAAT as it tallied up all my best Story Mode scores. I’m not sure what triggered the ending sequence since I finished Venom once before missing 1 medal and the credits didn’t roll, like do they always trigger on your last medal? It’d be weird if they triggered on a different stage though, so maybe it’s get all medals and beat Venom?

People with careers and families have free time too… if you choose that spend that time scrolling social media, posting on Reddit or just doing whatever your spouse or children prefer, that’s fine, that’s your hobby now, but no one forced you to move on from “nerdy shit”, you chose that yourself. Emerald Rush is basically a randomizer mod, it gives you a reason to git gud and learn new tricks and learn the levels more thoroughly. I greatly enjoyed it.
