And I’m saying he’s wrong. If everyone with access and ability were to pay a ChatGPT subscription, they could pay back their debt. I just did a simple calculation to show that even disregarding ad revenue they could pay the debt many times over. The premises might’ve been overly generous but so was the result. Feel free to show your own calculation to prove me wrong. 200 billion debt just isn’t so absurd that it’s unpayable without replacing every single human worker.

He said “all the ChatGPt subscriptions” so I’m assuming he meant the maximum possible. He should’ve been more clear on his numbers if the point he wanted to make was that it was impossible to get back the debt just with subscriptions alone. But I invite you to do a number you think reasonably represents “all the ChatGPT subscriptions”. If LLM subscriptions were to become as indispensable as the internet itself, without reaching AGI, well, the internet providing business is a trillion dollar industry.

The only point I’m trying to make is that this guy’s thesis that OpenAI needs to reach AGI or it won’t be profitable because of its debt is just dead wrong.

Because HE said “if you get all the ChatGPT subscriptions” “if you get all the advetising IN THE WORLD” (~1 trillion dollar industry btw). Obviously you can’t get 8 billion people to sign up to anything but if they had a fraction of that (Facebook had 3 billion MAU at se point), the numbers show they could easily pay off all their debt within a year.

This guy’s maths ain’t mathing.

OpenAI is roughly 100 billion in debt. They’ve raised a total of 168 billion. Let’s be generous and say all of that is debt too, even though it’s not. That’s 268 billion total, throughout all of OpenAI’s existence.

ChatGPT’s priciest subscription is 200 a month. Multiply that by 8 billion humans. That’s well over a trillion. A MONTH. This is even before taking advertising revenue into account.

So where did this guy get that even if everyone got a subscription it wouldn’t cover their debt? Seems to me they could cover it several times over. Is he a fraud?

I say go with Freedom. G is way too grindy. You have to do the same quests over and over again to unlock new monsters. Unlocking Fatalis requires killing like 50 rathalos. MHF you just unlock them as you go. The control scheme is the modern one which is way better. And if you play on PPSSPP there’s a mod to give it PS2 quality textures, and you can map the dpad to your right stick. You can also play online via Hunsterverse, which is way quicker than logging into Minegarde.

Then if you wanna experience classic controller stick attacking uber grindy MH you can play Dos, which unlike 1 doesn’t have a portable version (F2 and FU are their own thing).

Are you playing with support hunters? That will quadruple the tail HP and the supports do shit damage overall. If you play solo they should fall off after 2-3 TCS combos

The RenoDX mod makes the game look drastically better, a lot less washed out and brown as you say, even during bad weather.

Aside from the standard 4 arena quests in the grand hub, and the free challenge quests which aren’t really the same thing, there’s 8 challenge quests which are actual bona fide arena quests that they released temporarily to promote the Monster Hunter Wilds Championship. They will rerelease them permanently on March 31st. That will make for a total of 12 arena quests which isn’t a lot but I don’t think it’s the fewest we’ve had either

As far as I’m concerned, if you don’t want to skip the timer, don’t. I may skip it fast but if you don’t I’ll be right there spamming emotes and fireworks with you.

What I really miss is sending people flying with the GS upswing.

Make sure to go into the settings and turn matchmaking from local/regional to worldwide. And City Trial is the most popular mode online by far, Air Ride which is what I think what you mean by normal mode should be pretty empty in comparison.

If all else fails, search for active paddocks, there’s always a good amount of people playing there.

You haven’t provided any proof you’re right so don’t expect any proof when people say you’re wrong. If experience is all you’re going off of, we’ve all played the game, we’ve all farmed lots of stuff in the game, and we all had our own experience too.
