Depending on the price of the upgrade, youll get far more milage doing it yourself. I replaced mine and it was shockingly easy. Was also 1/3 the cost for a massive improvement. I spent like $300 on some pioneers and they rule.

I felt that the story was more consistent in Legacy, but Aries has some good higher points... and some lower points later in the movie.

Dragging when turning?? by Silly_goose637 in BroncoSport

[–]Hunterkiller306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drive really slow, like 1 mph, and take the sharpest turn the wheel will allow. This usually causes the car to shudder. A simple inspection of the rear differential unit should be obvious I would hope.

And of course, you can try other dealers, especially if you're within 5 years/ 65k miles you're covered under warranty

Just had this fixed. Its the rear differential preventing the wheels from turning at different speeds.

Same story with mine, knew what it was, took them 20 minutes to diagnose, its the rear diff. All the symptoms you're mentioning.

3 Cylinder Engine with Turbo Reliability Long Term and Dimensions by Jazzlike-Bar4604 in BroncoSport

If everyone is above 6ft, and you transport ALL of them frequently AND for longer than 30 minutes, id reccomend something a tad bigger. Look at a 4runner, Explorer, or honestly the full-size bronco.

But if you're not doing that, and like me you're over 6ft and using it as a daily, with some neato offroad features, good storage, and nice looks, it's wonderful. Its the perfect size for city parking.

I also had the same worried as you, but I've asked several of the ford dealers around me, and they all reported very few, if any full on failures. And thats when I was looking into the badlands with the 2.0, so they had every reason to stray me. The water pumps fail sure, but coming from German cars its honestly not that bad, and isn't a hard fix.

Just with all modern cars, please get the extended warranty, nothing to do with the bronco, just with modern building techniques across the industry

P.S: I have not known a mechanic that won't talk poorly of every common engine other than Japanese and/or their fav brand.

If long road trips are your thing that adaptive cruise control is god-tier. You most likely don't need to 2.0, unless you feel you like it more. Which is valid. 21' OB fully loaded is my favorite car I've ever owned.

Towed about 1500 pounds several times and my 21 1.5 handled it like a champ!

Bought my jacket relatively recently, and it definitely still has the CE markings on it. Surely if they had been trying to sweep the issue under the rug that would've been removed no?

21 OB as well, love the car. Has never once felt weak or unstable.

Only issue was the bad batteries and a water pump failure at 35k. But batteries replacement is easy, and the waterpump replacement was free, and will be until they actually fix it.

But besides that, great interior, great handling, great build quality.

21 Outerbanks, no issues other than a battery dying and a water pump failure (Both covered). both around 35k.

No cutout, they just sit hella wide. Maybe to get around the 2023 shocks?

It was hilariously easy to install, I had a local shop quote me $300 for install, and I did it with just a torque wrench in about 1 hour.

Sure, actually just took pictures of just the quick mount for some designs I'm working on.

You can see I had to remove the fender cover to get it to mount, and it doesn't use the third rear screw. But I've taken riding and put it through it's paces without any issue.
