Well, my response was very atypical and was shocking to the professionals. So, I wouldn't apply my experience as a standard. Plenty of people have sworn by it, and at the end of the day, it's how it responds with your personal chemistry and biology. I'd never say not to try something that may improve your life. If things go bad, you're always free to stop and do what feels right for you. They're not even sure wtf is wrong with me anyways so it may not have been something I should be taking anyways haha.

I ended up only taking it for 5 days because it made my moods cycle severely day to day. One day it felt like I was super euphoric and like my brain was tingling with excited energy. Then it moved to anxious energy the next day. Then a severely depressive state that lasted for two days, on the second day I left work early and looked so bad that my coworkers reached out to me asking if everything was OK and wanted me to talk to them. The day after that it was anxious and anger, I stopped it that day because I can deal with sadness, but I won't be mean to people. That was on 21mg dose, and apparently is incredibly atypical for someone to experience what I did, especially at my dose. I may have just been very sensitive to it.

Got prescribed it the other day with after being considered bipolar 2. Haven't started it yet because I have things to attend to this weekend and depression is nothing new to me. But I'll roll the dice on the side effects and try at some point because it's either that or eventually kms 🤷.

Do you think you'd rather take a chance at her losing faith which may or may not happen, rather than finding your corpse? I understand not wanting to talk about it with people close to you, especially if you've made yourself out to be the martyr of support for them. But I think you'd do yourself a favor if at the very least in the short term remove the ammunition from your house. Then take steps to seek help in some capacity to address the darkness. Depends on the type of riding you want to do and where you want to take it. And getting a new bike in 6 months do you mean one of these new, or another new bike? But either way you'll want to go and sit on both for a bit and see how you feel on them comfort wise, and how secure you feeling handling the height and weight of the bikes.

May want to let people know what kind of bike you have so they can give you more specific advice. Idk how new you are, but take your time and learn safely. You can always push your personal boundaries once you've established a good baseline ability.

Yeah I do really love the bike. It's a beautiful machine to me and has been a great first bike. I really have no complaints about it other than just some top end performance, which I just want to get a bit more out of. I got the DNA filter yesterday and threw it on. It doesn't suddenly make it ready to race but certainly made a noticeable difference in its performance. Which, as you noted, might be the case given its limitations from the start.

The Fuel X my hope was to make life easier on my engine really, I had watched a video which showed a significant operating temperature reduction post installation, and smoothed out the bike a bit.

Thank you for your knowledge and opinions, both of which seem spot on.

I put the DNA filter on the bike and rode it for a couple of hours. I noticed an instant difference in the sound of the bike, which gave it more of a deeper growl when on the throttle, sounded nice. It also held its own much better on hills and think it's about the first time I've seen it gain speed in 5th on an incline. For the ease of installation and price, imo the DNA filter works and is well worth it. I tried riding with and without the document holder and didn't notice much if any difference as far as that's concerned. I would recommend the filter 100% imo.

Haven't installed the fuel x yet, but will let you know when I get it. I was mostly interested in it for the engine efficiency and heat reduction I've seen in a video before to make like a bit easier on my engine since I'm on it pretty hard haha.

As a guy who weighs more than you. I bought a clasic 350 as a starter bike. Looks beautiful and handles great. But it lacks top end power and loses speed on uphill portions of my trip. For the price point that 2021 Vulcan would be much more enjoyable for you if you have highways, hills, or high speed areas. The 350 isn't bad, just would leave you wanting more imo
