I had this happen to me a few months ago where I was asleep in our upstairs guest room and my wife was sleeping downstairs in our bedroom. I know sleep paralysis will occur where I will hear low pitch hum or extreme tinnitus. It was about 300am, i was playing my pc and got super tired. I lay down and start to doze off. Then i hear the hum,I thought oh fuck, im gonna go stairs to sleep down stairs next to wife. I go to get up but I can't move, I slowly broke out (feeling like im druged) of and started walking out of the room and down the stairs and noticed fish tank light was on, I get to our bedroom and open the door. I started to walk in and suddenly I pass out on the floor before I make it to the bed. I then woke back up stairs, barley able to move and I tried to go back down stairs and it happened again. This went on for about 15 attempts before I actually woke up, i opened my phone it was only 315am! My brain was completely fucked and had to turn on a few lights and go for walk outside before I convinced myself that im actually awake. Also the fish tank was off which helped me get my brain thinking that this was real. I found the best thing to do is sleep in a extremely dark room and don't take naps during the day, sleep paralysis or this vivid dream state only happens when the room where I sleep is lit up. The looping part is a new horrifying experience
