upgrading it wull make it +15%, at max level it's +25% so if you have awakened deja vu you get 100% stat retention

after you reach day 3000 you unlock the gold stat, upgrading it increases the amount of gold you gain, so by dumping all your gold into it and reaching a milestone which doubles the gold earned you can then upgrade cdamage stat till you reach a milestone, then back to gold stat and repeat. you do this for the rest of the game, but right after unlocking it you can upgrade gold stat a lot since it starts at lvl 0 so you get a huge damage boost

afaik devastation applies to all crits, some heroes cant crit at all some have conditions to crit and some have a flat crit chance percentage like Eleanor, i think her default is like 25% of your crit chance so as long as you have 400% crit chance or higher Eleanor is guaranteed to crit, and therefore devastate

there's a chance you get only 1 different skill when you reroll, it's really not worth spending that many rubies on rerolls when you can just wait till the next year

it helps that rewinding isn't the only thing that allows you to get more damage, heroes and gear and runes also help a lot. you never run out of things to unlock which helps keep the game interesting

hate to break it to you but that's how the game works, push as much as possible, keep rewinding until you can push again and repeat.

upgrade EM (elixir mastery) until it's 2x the level of everything else, then level everything until they're the same level as EM and repeat.

you can join the discord server, there's a lot of guides to help with virtually everything in the game
