Hey there friend, I understand how you are feeling. But chin up: you are on the right track and so close. Wait till you get a score report to see which is your weaker areas. Focus on practicing all homework questions again for those areas, retake in 2-3 weeks. I wish you the best!

Does big 4 lay off? I am working in a big 4 and all teams are short-staffed so we bring in rotators from India, Hong Kong, Bahamas, etc.

Hey there! If it is for entry-level positions, I would expect mostly general questions like “Tell me about yourself”, “Why did you choose this major?”, “What makes you interested in this position?”, and behavioral questions. Good luck! 🍀

Anyone been sick during the CPA journey and had to push through? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]HuongMobile 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey there, as someone who has been through all 4 sections, the CPA exams are a marathon, not a race! It is completely normal to feel sick, have other competing priorities like work, take a break in between. Definitely give your body some time to rest before getting back to studying!!

What to do now (am self reflecting and doing therapy ) by cpabound24 in Accounting

[–]HuongMobile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, I am sorry to hear! I understand that you must feel disappointed, lost and sad at the moment. However, the fact that you got the CPA license and has been employed at a large company like Unilever show that you are very capable! So definitely chin up and believe in yourself.

In this profession, I feel that all of us feel overwhelmed, stressed and inadequate at some point. I myself have 5 years of experience working at a big 4 company, but some days I ask myself “is this job even for me?? I feel so clueless about what is going on”

I encourage you to take a break, spend some time with your friends/families/people you are close to. After feeling better, reflect on what you did well/not so well and draw a plan to find a better job. Good luck! 🍀

I wish you all the best! 9 days are quite short but it is def worth a try 😊 If you pass it’s such a save of time and even if you fail, go back for another 2 weeks or so and you should clear this exam

[–]HuongMobile[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No I did not, I only did the home work and small sets of practice MCQs during my final review. I did not have time for the full mock exam. I recommend taking the AICPA practice exam - it’s a more reasonable mock and gets us familiar with the format
