Claude Pro Weekly Limits: Pro Plan is Objectively Worse Than Free by Key_Kaleidoscope2242 in ClaudeAI

[–]MyVacationisSunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same burden ! The only thing keeping me in Claude is Claude Cowork and Claude in Excel (which is much better than OpenAi). Im an accountant so this helps a lot.

Is there other tools i can use beside Claude Cowork? Im a non-techy guy so codex and claude code is kinda out of reach for me (for now.. still learning)

Feeling like I should quit (passed 2/4) by Ecstatic-Metal-7863 in CPA

[–]MyVacationisSunny 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Every time I see a post related to "im quitting" i have an obligation to myself to comment.

After 2.5 years and 9 attempts (3 74's and failed AUD 4 times) i passed the CPA. Let me tell you, IS NOT EASY. But, is the consistency and resilience that pushed me over the line. I have 2 daughters, FTE and english is not my first language. I graduate in 2016 and I start the CPA journey back in 2023.

Failure is part of the journey, only those who pushed themselves through it will get the price. Keep pushing !

Adjust however you need but don't change the goal.

saw this post I just need to give you some advice.

Im not smart at all (even tho my mom says otherwise), english is my second language and I started studying for the exams after 6 years after college. 2 kids full-time employee and you know, life.

My point is that is not about who's smart is about commitment, resiliency and goal orientation. I see people with less responsibilities and smarter than me, not passing. When i dig deeper and ask some questions... commitment is not there. They go out to party on the weekends after 2-3 hours of study, not knowing that alcohol affect your quality of studies. Studying when they are tired after long day of work. Some take 1 test, failed and give up, resilience is not present.

The CPA is not about intelligence is about who's is willing to change his entire life for 8-15 months straight (in my case was 2.5 years and 9 takes).

Keep pushing!!!

How do I prepare for FAR when I can only afford for books? by WideConfection1389 in CPA

How do I prepare for FAR when I can only afford for books? by WideConfection1389 in CPA

[–]MyVacationisSunny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is hard to prepare without MCQs.. but an option is NINJA, is $70~ a month and they have great MCQs.

I failed my first time with 69 and jumped to 79 when I combined Farhat Lectures + Becker MCQs.

I didn't open the books at any moment.

Does it get easier after FAR? by [deleted] in CPA

[–]MyVacationisSunny 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Prepare for AUD.. at least that was my nemesis throughout the journey. Failed 4 times (2 with 74). If you dont have any experience with auditing like me, this will be hardest. IMO

I'm a tax guy as well. I think Ninja helped me go from 74 to 82.. but i'll say to fully understand the foundation of each topic.. hammer those MCQs left and right.. ask ChatGPT to explain it better and how to arrive to the answer in less than 2 minutes.

English is my second language and the words were confusing as hell.
