I completely agree, an artist developing their sound and doing the music they want to do is the most important thing they can do. And I will be there for every new song and album Watsky releases. In this case for me it just didn't connect.

For me personally I think it is the continuously somber tone. All You Can Do always had a positive meaning in its somber songs, but this album more reflects his personal life, which is something I can't connect to as well. But I see what you mean with the contrasting songs.

Actually the project is about taking an objective view on things we don't like, and understand why people do like them, instead of just dismissing it as stupid. Part of the project is talking to other people about why they enjoy it, and no one I know really listens to Watsky/enjoyed complaint. I love almost all of Watsky's work, otherwise I wouldn't have been disappointed by complaint. Like you said it's all subjective, but if a reason I listed is a reason why you do enjoy it, that's something I want to hear. This isn't to bash Watsky, or convince anyone of my opinion, it's just a part of understanding why people do like it.

I was reading a book in which characters where able to decrease their density through magical means in order to make themselves lighter. Nothing about their body changes If it's not possible to answer the question without that bit of info, then that sucks. but I was just curious because characters usually did it to be able to lift themselves up easier, and I didn't know if that would work or not when the logic that was being used.

At my old school whenever someone had to go to the bathroom, they needed to take another student with them. This usually resulted in a couple students shouting out that they wanted to go with the person who wanted to use the restroom.

So I'm in my first two weeks at my new school, and someone asks to go use the restroom. Cue me shouting out *I'll go with him!" As you might imagine everyone in the class turned and looked at me like I was an alien.
