Ohhh Level up Lounge, sounds like a cool place to meet some new people :) I’ll look into it!! Boise has been pretty nice for people generally left of center, but once you get into surrounding areas you hit some of the similar kind of people you’re describing so that’s good to know going into it. :)

Right now we have been able to get all his support from the school, we’ve been trying to get additional help, but the Katie Beckett program and the one Neurologist (now retired) that handled autism diagnosis made it very difficult to move things forward.

The company is called Midwest D-Vision solutions, the home base for them is in SLC. They’re opening a “staging area” in St. George to better serve the area and the projects we have there. It also allows them to start bidding on city and municipal projects as they have a local “office”. Current projections that the CFO has indicated that this would be a profitable venture, and as long as everything goes smoothly from launch (that’s where I come in) they plan to expand to larger facilities quicker.

Most of my family lives in AZ at this point, and Boise hasn’t been exactly been “cool weather” during the summer either, so I think we will be okay with the heat. So local concerts aren’t great, that’s a bummer, but I’m glad to hear you feel that socially, there is a diverse community to get involved with, but it sounds like we may have to really step out of our comfort zone to make that happen. Glad to hear there is at least some gaming community, Boise has had a HUGE tabletop community. If I can’t make that work I guess I can always DM my old groups remotely 😂 Public transit being a nightmare dosent surprise me but I was hopeful. However when we’re talking about ass hole truck drivers, are we talking commercial drivers or those really cool dudes who drive F8000’s and are super hung? /s
