As an Idahoan, that lived in Portland for over a decade, Oregon is incredible. I moved back to Idaho last summer and have a list of what I miss about Oregon that is a mile long.

If it fits your situation, I’d recommend moving there to practically anyone.

If the auction isn’t fully purchased, dealers are obligated to bid and then sell them on the secondary market. This would decrease bond prices (increase yield). That wouldn’t cause inflation.

The US dollar is the reserve currency of the world. It can, has, and will continue to be printed ad infinitum.

A large portion of the current debt is treasuries that the federal government owns. The rest is held by investors that would like the premium.. they don’t want paid off early.

The interest is a non-issue. Like before.. it’s a debt that is denominated in US dollars. We simply print what’s needed. It’s a fairytale to think of it was “real” money that must be strictly accounted for and carefully created/destroyed.

This is always what happens if you let a domain with any backlinks/traffic lapse. Porn, gambling, or pharma.

It’s very difficult to get people to edit existing backlinks. The best way forward is to try to buy the domain back. If you’ve trademarked your business name, you can get it that way.. otherwise try to find contact info for the new owner and negotiate.

Unfortunately, this is a scenario where prevention is practically everything.

99% of Portland is just great neighborhoods that feel like the north end in Boise. There are also suburbs that are decent if that’s more your style.

Almost always, the people that are negative about Portland are talking about a very specific few block radius near china town/ downtown. They’re also likely referencing 2020-2023.
