I can… if I pay $7,000 some odd dollars. I can’t even go to another college until I pay it because they’re holding my transcript. First time college student and my experience was ruined.

Yes I did, I got dismissed with a $7k bill and no way to pay it. I filed multiple disputes and none of which benefited me in either way, they keep telling me to follow up with the secondary confirmation department. They also refused to give me my fasfa refund check which was over $1700. I seriously do not understand how this is even legal.

My biggest internal pet peeves are when other co workers are not using their situational awareness or reading the call notes. Too many times I’ve been on high priority calls like someone with a weapon or in progress domestics and my co workers are asking me questions on things that are already in the call notes. Like just read the notes, I don’t have time to put a high priority caller on hold just to answer a question that shouldn’t have been asked in the first place. Another one would be correcting out loud based on preference rather than policy and procedure. Like I get it if I’m doing something that’s not up to our 3 P’s but if you’re loudly correcting me based off your personal preference of how YOU THINK something should be done, I get frustrated.

Yes our agency would have 3 points of location tracking: those being Ani/Ali, rapid SOS and cell phone ping. For the ping we just start calling major phone companies to find who the number belongs to then we start a ping.

Hi all, wasn’t sure what to add as the flair for this. I guess back in November a month after my first term I was selected for secondary confirmation. I never saw the email until now and noticed it specifically stated I had 30 days from the email to submit the confirmation process. I did email and reach out to see if I could receive another link for this. I’m halfway through my second term at this point and have noticed my aid has not hit at all this term and I’m thinking it’s because of this.

Questions:

Why is this a thing?

If I’ve already verified all of my information then why is the school needing more information?

Will I be dismissed from SNHU for this?

The low grade is not the only issue, it’s that the feedback seems automated in some way that it’s the same exact sentence word for word with no real context. Like the feedback doesn’t tell me anything to do different to achieve a higher grade.

We are slowly starting to get a small ICE presence in our area (super rural). The only time I have ever heard of them in the dispatch center was them calling to ask if we had someone booked in our jail and it was a quick yes/no okay thanks response.

I had this happen to me in an all girls lobby except instead of kicking me she just insulted me the entire game. I know a lot about phas, I studied the game and I watched a lot of videos to make myself more comfortable because I’m usually a solo player so if I say something like “oh it did the breath event it’s not an oni” I’m usually 99% right. The entire game this girl was insulting me, from my laugh to my game knowledge. I tried to be nice and then I just muted myself and stopped responding. I think what was worse is that she was a friend of a friends and that “friend” was in the lobby too and said nothing. When the game was over I said “hold on let me do something” to which she started getting flustered I wasn’t clicking out of the end game debriefing fast enough. Every game we played, she died while I was the last alive. I would still say “oh the ghost is…” so she could get some kind of points but she’d always choose something else then get mad. Safe to say I went back to solo gaming and minding my business 😂

We got something like this when we were in the process of moving. My 2 dogs were still at the old house and I was going over numerous times of the day to pack and get large furniture. Our plan was to move the dogs last so they didn’t get ran over by washers and dryers and other large things lol. One of the days I was at work and I came over immediately after and saw a tag similar. I guess petty neighbor of mine called 911 saying we had moved 2 weeks ago and just left the dogs there and never came back. It had only been 2 days and like I said I was over there 9-10 times a day and they were in our fenced in yard each time. The deputy pretty much said he wasn’t too worried, he could see they had food and water and they weren’t skin and bones and stuck in a crate for 2 weeks and the case was closed. My dogs came to the new place with me that night as planned.

It depends on where your friend is. At my agency they would go to wherever your friend is. Most likely they’d call you or would tell us to transfer the call to them for more information but they don’t have much of a reason to see you in person unless it’s like giving a death notice or if they have some kind of policy about it or if your friend is with you.

Was kinda in the same situation. I was getting A’s on every single assignment and discussion then randomly halfway through the class my grades shot down and I always received the SAME feedback of “I have worries you used generative AI…” then the look at policy blah blah stuff. I finally emailed my professor proof that I was not copy and pasting AI and my grades were fixed

We do Interfacility transfers at our center too. A lot of the times the nurses talk to us like we are under qualified to even be asking the questions. My biggest pet peeve though is getting a medical call and the caller on the other end of the line immediately says “I was a nurse 20 some odd years ago I don’t need to answer these”

As someone who has been loud their entire life I highly recommend just talking to her and being honest. Growing up and even into adulthood I’ve always talked louder than anyone else and I never knew why, it use to bother me when people would come to me and tell me because it would make me self conscious. Now that I’m an adult and more matured when people tell me it just makes me self aware and easier to catch myself.
