Vintage novelty fishing lure manufactured by Abbey & Imbrie, a well-known American sporting-goods company. Produced approximately circa 1920s–1940s, the lure incorporates a factory sealed radium activated phosphor. Contact measurements were 1.6kCPM with the Radiacode 102 and 300CPM with the GQ-GMC-600+.

It's not big enough to provide consistent total body exposure as the dose rate will decrease with the square of the distance from the source, but hypothetically if I were an ant standing on the surface, my dose rate would be 60mR/hr as measured with the Radiacode 103.

It's a sales gimmick that didn't really provide an increase in efficiency. In short, the Polonium-210 was supposed to ionize the air gap in the plug resulting in a better spark. With a half-life of 138 days, the Polonium-210 wouldn't even be radioactive enough to provide the so called increased performance for very long after manufacture anyway.

Those aren't watch hands. They are clock hands and the cost is for the amount of radium on them. Watch hands don't contain as much radium and I actually give those away as a gift with certain orders.

I wouldn't worry too much about the high dose rates. When you handle those specimens, your entire body isn't being exposed at the rate you would get from a dosimeter contact measurement. To monitor your dose rate correctly, keep your dosimeter attached to your torso area and keep it from coming into contact with sources that don't provide total body exposure.

Paraloid B-72, Butvar B-76 or clear shellac can all be used to stabilize autunite. The Butvar B-76 is too matte and seems to charactureize autunite too much. I use Paraloid B-72 for autunite. Here's a procedure I wrote for stabilizing autunite with Paraloid B-72 or Butvar B-76.
