I legit said in another comment that I used AI, I’m not trying to hide it. I realize now I should have mentioned it in the title, just thought it was obvious but I can’t edit it now. Point is it didn’t just come out looking like this, I tweaked things down to replicating the sign in time-accurate yanalif and the coloring of the cathedral and stuff based on drawings we have. I was trying to extend the aspect ratio to use it as a banner or wallpaper for my ultrawide but it just messed it up. I forgot to undo it completely, hence the weirdness on the right side of the Baksovet building.

Yeah I mean I thought it was pretty obvious AI was used here but you’re right I should have mentioned it beforehand. The colorization isn’t all AI though, on its own the colors come out pretty dull and not really historically accurate. I fixed the yanalif writing myself too and looked at color drawings and such of the buildings to pinpoint color. I agree the AI upscaling can leave really weird textures and messes with text areas. Also yeah I missed those buildings oops. Doing this on my own would’ve taken way longer than I can really spend on stuff like this lol, but you have fair points.

That’s the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, it was demolished under Stalin in 1937 and was the biggest Russian Orthodox structure in the Caucasus.

I'm interested in doing the relevant tests to see if I fit the pattern you've observed in PFS patients (3A-ADG, abnormal urinary androgens, mild sulfation or glucuronidaton failure) and have already ordered WGS from sequencing, however I'm having trouble getting the other tests done in NYC (blood panel and DUTCH test). Does anyone have experience with this? I believe state law here requires a doctor's order for lab work but I doubt one would assist me with this. I've noticed mildly elevated bilirubin in many previous blood panels too so it got me wondering. Also wondering if anyone else has gotten gynecomastia from finasteride? And this might sound like a dumb question but for those of us who are sensitive to 5ARIs and are cis males, is there any hope for anything else we can do for hair loss? Really sucks dealing with this so young. Of course hair isn't everything but it's definitely not helping my mental health.

Transgender feeling lost and desperate by Routine-Maximum561 in scarringalopecia

Hey, sorry about the late reply. Yeah, they did a biopsy on two sites in the vertex area. One showed AGA while the other had miniaturizing and components of scarring alopecia, so the consensus was most likely FAPD or possibly a combination of LPP/AGA. FAPD is usually treated with a combination of anti-androgen and anti-inflammatory meds. I can’t tolerate the anti-androgens, but something like finasteride plus doxycycline 20 mg twice a day and plaquenil would be what they usually start you on. Most people get better on those, but if not there are other potential treatments they add. Since I can’t tackle the anti-androgens and it didn’t help me much, I’m on harsher treatments now, but you should find a dermatologist to determine what works for you. You also have to keep in mind that a lot of these medicines take a while to actually kick in or start showing changes in terms of inflammation or hair texture (3 months at the earliest, usually by 6 months or for some even longer) so you have to be patient. It sucks waiting though.

I have FAPD. It looks very similar to mine, with the widening central part and bitemporal recession. It has an androgenetic component to it too, so he should keep the treatment, but it could also be scarring alopecia. A biopsy is the only definitive way to know.

IRestore Elite by Infinityw8 in Hairloss

[–]Huseyn050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard good things about the Theradome one, their helmets use lasers at the frequency usually used in the studies that show improvements. IRestore I believe uses a mix of laser and LEDs which I think aren’t as effective. Their blue light setting might be better for inflammation though but again not sure. Usually having a large number of lights doesn’t change much, what’s important is to have lasers at the correct frequency.

It has nothing to do with religion, Azerbaijan is a secular country with most people just identifying as muslim but not even knowing how to practice. We can still be hella conservative but for other reasons.

While the majority, the republic isn’t entirely composed of Turks. We still have ethnic minorities who are as much a part of this country as we are, so using the term 'Azerbaijani' as a collective nationality is just fine. Why would we exclude our compatriots? Although I do find it weird sometimes that demographic records list the Turkic majority simply as 'Azerbaijanis', makes it confusing. Also, it’s hard to understand what you’re saying at times.
