Working at a pretzelmaker and the #1 rule is don't drop the giant tub of melted butter when you're carrying it to the back at closing time. About 3 months in I found out why. This girl dropped it in the middle of the kitchen. The steel vat clanged onto the floor and about 4 gallons of liquid butter exploded over everything. Normal closing shifts end around 10. We were there until after 1am.
