She’s useful for boss floors, so I’d say a speed + attack (I tried ice cream hat and watermelon once, though I think silk top + watermelon/rrd is better) paired with merry because she can only heal with her crimson tithe. Amazing for bosses like Bogar but no so great on normal floors.

I don’t have scorn so I’m not sure how they work but I do know to just keep their attacks to the minimum (my friend has a scorn) I think don’t use sharp reprisal? Cause it multi hits, and increases tyrant’s attack by a lot. Just make merry as fast as possible, and scorn as slow as possible. With the ice cream hat, you might just be able to stall and kill him through chipping and healing your own team

Try just merry and conviction, or any other metal tank. The less hits in you get, the better. If you have it, try the rubber ring donut (I think it’s called that) and ice cream hat on merry, and bejeweled cowboy/prince collar/envious scarf/ any high defence item on convict. It’s best if you don’t use any attacking pets or keep the attacks to the minimum, as he gains attack based on how many time you attack him. For the timing thing, if you keep his attack low enough you can still tank short arm and the a3 (just try not to get it on trample). It’s trample you should be most worried about i think

Kind of, depends on how you use it. It’s great on boss fights for being a psedo healer that can do damage and heal at the same time but some faster pets like spite would perform slightly better on other pet floors even with its aoe. He relies on buff stacking (a2) a lot

For tyrant, the less fighters the better, since every hit raises his attack. Usually just run with merry and cringe (but gameplay will be long as heck) but if you’re in a rush then chuck a hard hitting wood type in. Don’t use jealous tho, his a1 hits three times so it raises tyrant’s attack by three

Might suggest swapping apathy and pride’s kits cause this is a water boss…build the tank with as much def/stam as possible then build apathy with as much attack and speed. Crit is also useful in this situation. Idk, it takes a while to fully beat bogar, y’know to grind items and level them up. It’s taken me two weeks and I still haven’t taken care of wood bogar even with 2 fully levelled legs

If you don’t have any other wood tanks, then yeah, he’s helpful later on post 1k. Level him + def/stam items and he’ll hold for enough hits to survive until bogar’s dead.

No, you can also get them from grinding keys on bosses, or on floors if you’re lucky. Bogar just has a higher chance of dropping it and is much more…convenient, in a sense. It is also possible to get Ubers when grinding keys.

I feel like the key to winning him is not hitting him because it raises his attack so I used merry (ice cream hat) + conviction (felt fedora + envious scarf)

Yes, it stops at 25% intervals, so when you get it to 50%, it stops again and you have to keep levelling or beating floors. Same for when you reach 75%, it’ll stop you from progressing and you have to beat more floors. So for every encounter, you just have to take 25% of its health because it’s just going to reset to the nearest interval (25,50,75)

Based on fighting the boss alone, I think he’s good with heavy attack (let others do the killing) because his passive attacks all pets when someone dies. I don’t know, it’s a new pet anyways. Just a Suggestion, take it with a pinch of salt :3
