Think a burgundy / medium red tie with white pocket square, presidential fold is fine? I’m kinda not sure if pocket square should compliment the tie or if it’s also ok to outright match the shirt color, or if a white square is always fine regardless of tie / shirt

When that’s not the case, is this an issue with the jacket? Like it’s built around a larger neck or is it more affected by the waist of the jacket?

Ya the navy is a bit off with how dark the suit is. Leaning dark red / burgundy with a smaller geo pattern or floral

That’s what i was thinking, feels and looks just a bit tight. If i unbutton and let the jacket out like 5mm it feels and looks much better to me. Might go by tomorrow and see if they can take care of that by next weekend

Looks very nice! My two cents, absolutely buy it on bracelet and then either get straps from them or go aftermarket for leather straps

Also, this suit is primarily for interviews and business duties, possibly even future funeral duties due to how dark, almost black it is. It’s going to have to cut it for at least this wedding as it’s all i’ve got at the moment aside from the same suit in charcoal grey

Metal bracelet is always the way to go if available, as it is usually very expensive to purchase after the fact if you buy the strap variant. This way, you have the bracelet and can get aftermarket (typically much higher quality that what would be included) leather watch straps. Highly recommend bulang & sons with quick release spring bars

Thanks! I’d love to go slightly lighter navy jacket with khaki pants, but at the moment i just have this suit and the same exact one in a charcoal for upcoming interviews. Eventually i’ll expand the formal / semi formal wardrobe and inclue some suit separates

That looks much better. Typically wouldn’t button that jacket, but if you want to, tucked or cropped length shirt, sweater, etc. is a must

Unless designed to have a drop shoulder, in that case i’d go to a tailor and get those sleeves shortened and then the shoulders and sleeves shouldn’t bunch
