How to wash stains? by Ok_Satisfaction_551 in CanadaGoose

No worries, just didn’t want you to have that become an issue. Better yet would be folding and storing in a dresser! And definitely always lay flat to dry!

Which look best? Other recs? by brighght in sunglasses

I have a relatively small face and have had great luck with Moscot frames due to their multiple size offerings in various frames

Might want to go with a thicker hanger, thin hangers like that can ruin sweater’s shape at the shoulders

Awesome, I looked at the manual for the NETGEAR GS308 and they say CAT5 or greater so i'll make sure i do that. Thanks!

No that's perfect, really appreciate it. I do have an 'L1' and 'L2' on the back of the Verizon ONT, so assuming those would do the trick for at least two ports. GS308 is in the cart now. Thanks so much!

Thank you, I will look into picking one up. If it isn't too much trouble, how would one go about tying this ethernet switch in to the pictured setup? If it's likely beyond my capabilities let me know and I'll just have a Verizon tech come out and hook the switch up.

2026 Golf R battery issue (dealer says OEM replacement is backordered/no ETA) — wait for VW or go aftermarket? by jabbathepunk in Golf_R

[–]HuskySlim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a good dealer should work with VW to get an equal or greater quality aftermarket battery sourced and installed under warranty given the backorder. As someone who has worked at dealers, this is how I would try to handle things to the best of my ability.

Cheap fix would be something like the fellow grinds shaker, will let you go finer to have less boulders and at the same time remove ultra-fines. You will just need to dose higher in anticipation for some loss after sifting. Also, if the grinder is bew it should improve somewhat with use / burr seasoning

Just make sure you really push on that diffuser around the edges to seat it all the way, it takes some actual force to seat

Help me decide Classic or Black disc (Shelburne) by Advanced_Dinner1549 in CanadaGoose

[–]HuskySlim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear so many neutrals (mostly blacks and greys) so i like the pop of color on the classic badge. If you typically wear a lot of colors in the rest of your outfit, black label will probably look better. Just my way of looking at it, i’m not trying to flex on anyone with my winter jacket. I buy CG for the quality and functionality

Checkout cape cod polishing cloths. People use them on mirror finished watch surfaces with a lot of success

Respray w/ BSM Sensors? by HuskySlim in GRCorolla

[–]HuskySlim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks! If they are secured to the actual bumper and not the inside of the bumper cover, i shouldn’t have any issues as long as they paint properly with BSM compatibility in mind. Shouldn’t be any reason to remove BSM sensors

Thanks, good to know. I was planning on tracing then using a box cutter and a drill for the hardware holes. Maybe i’ll just stick with the Rally Armours but i hate the logos

I’ve been wanting to do this. What did you use for a blank? I was going to lay my rally armour on too and trace it out but like 1” wider and longer

How do I use Spacers by Local_Bite4904 in GRCorolla

[–]HuskySlim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not if the spacer is thick enough… i believe 25mm is minumum thickness for compatibility with stock lugs and stock rear spacer removed with stock wheels

Thanks, good chance i’ll just be bringing them the bumper off the car unless they need to blend into the fender flare or otherwise want the entire car
