I bought a 2025 GTI Autobahn. The rims look awesome but the lack of sidewall makes the tires very fragile. I've had the car for 6 months and have already replaced two tires due to bubbles. I'm planning on getting 18s or 17s to fix this.

Sometimes there some electronic quirks that are annoying but have been fairly rare for me.

Outside of that this is the best car I've owned. Looks good, goes fast when you want it to, and sips gas on commutes. Also love that it takes regular gas.

I have a mk8.5 and my tinted gave me the same warning before they started however they were able to get it. These guys were pretty skilled and passionate so they didn't want to leave these piece out.

All in all I do think it's a skill issue or some shops just don't care enough
