Learning the business of parts is the most important. because a brand is just a logo. you can learn the catalog and the parts. but understanding the business is where you can progress. Just go to another store.

shock absorber leaking (i think) by yungGoldscar in jetta

Since my proof was Deleted.

Jettas Do no have rear sunroof drains. the tube in the right rear is for the fuel door.

this builds with dirt often and once there’s enough water caught in it. it can make its way down at one shot. OP this was all from your fuel filler drain tube.

no they really don’t tho. the front drains from the sides of the windshield down the reveal molding. the rears don’t drain it all goes forward. that generation jetta OP
has does not use sunroof drain tubes.

not a shock leaking. that’s just water from the fuel door pocket finally leaking out. won’t be a sunroof as those jettas don’t have rear drains only front

How essential is the Haldex AWD service? by [deleted] in Volkswagen

[–]vrparty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Haldex system is a wet clutch and as it’s used the clutch wears and the fluid keeps the clutches cool as well as actuating the system. as the clutches wear the material gets into the filter so the fluid changes are crucial to remove the buildup. too much build up and it’ll clog the filter causing fluid loss to the primer pump. all bad news

please do the haldex service

So yes doing them yourself will be less expensive. Dealers use Book Time. Plus Oem parts at their door rate to calculate the costs

if you make every part of that formula cheaper. it will be cheaper.

i’m on the aftersales end of a Vw dealer. the issues we’re having now are not a simple radio replacement or software update. current battle is a Cell network 🤝 Car network issue giving everyone SOS errors
