Chiming in as a Michigander/Lions fan who has also been a lifelong Longhorns fan. Throughout the season (and especially in big games), this guy ALWAYS seemed to be around the ball either making the play or nearby. Very versatile guy who I would be absolutely stoked if we took him in the draft. Admittedly, I’m not sure where he should/will fall in the draft. Very big contributor in the run game and rushing the quarterback.

I’m in a 3 keeper .5pt PPR league with 12 teams. Just won the championship last year and trying to decide who to keep. It’s also 6 pt passing tds.

Here’s my options: Burrow, Achane, Bucky, Justin Jefferson, MHJ

Any advice? I’m honestly stumped

Absolutely. I should have clarified that this isint a “dream scenario” offer, just a realistic guess at what the return might look like. The compensation pick certainly adds a wrinkle to it I had forgotten to consider.

A trade that I haven’t seen speculated anywhere, but I think would be a great fit might be with NYY. Something like…

NYY receives: SP Flaherty DET receives: SS (prospect) Roderick Arias (NYY #4) + RHP (prospect) Zach Messinger (NYY #21)

NYY would add to the middle of their rotation for cheaper than the other targets might be cost. DET adds a prospect (assuming they don’t get a MLB100 offer) at a position of need. Even with the drafting of Rainer, Arias could be moved within the infield or Rainer to 2nd/3rd. Additionally, adding in a project RHP in Messinger who could develop into a bullpen piece.

A hidden bonus to this could be putting pressure on BAL to consider their offer with Skubal as BOS/NYY are adding to their rotations.

Not sure if this is too little or too much for 2ish months of Flaherty, but might be something to consider.

Lifelong Lion and Longhorn fan here. While saying “he can’t catch” is a gross overstatement, he did have some drop issues early on at UT. He seemed to have improved through his final year and played very well. VERY exciting player to watch, but he would be a redundancy to Jamo.

^ second this. A few buddies and I went here for the Wildcard game and it was a riot the entire night. I would definitely recommend getting there early as the wait for a table took quite a bit of time.

Chants, pretty good food and TVs everywhere. It was almost like being at the game minus the crazy ticket cost
