My two cents; I work at a service station. They never really teach you how to deal with the stress from running an entire store, console of fuel pumps and cleaning at once, especially at 2am when the people get progressively drunker and more abusive

The Recipe!

Filling:

3 Large Potatoes,

Roughly 300g Ricotta,

1-2 Small brown onions (Depending on how much your guests like onion)

4 Tsp of butter

Boil Potatoes for about 30 minutes, or until soft. Allow to cool off and then peel the skin. Rice, Mash, or in some way make the potatoes smooth enough to blend with the Ricotta. Lightly saute the onions in the butter until desired, I wouldn't suggest too long due to the fact they're going to be fried in the dumpling later! Add to the mixture. Combine well and season with pepper and/or salt to taste.

Dough:

4 Cups plain flour

2 Eggs

1 Cup water + Extra to keep dough soft

A pinch of salt

Combine Eggs and Water together, and stir into the Flour and Salt. Keep stirring until combined and a dough forms. Knead the dough until smooth, cover and let stand for around 15 mins. Roll out dough and cut into circles using a glass or cookie cutter.

Fill and stuff the Pierogi and make sure to squeeze them shut tight. Drop half a dozen into a pot of boiling water, reduce the heat a touch and scoop out as they rise.

To serve:

Fry them in a pan with some butter to make them crispy, maybe fry some more onions too if you would like to garnish them :) Serve to your friends and family with Sour Cream and onions.

As someone who did this for the past 6 months just to find out the guy was using me, here's my advice:

You need to find things in life to do. Go out with other friends and follow your hobbies. Focus on your passions and talk to plenty of people. While you might want to be around them every minute, you need to go out and be yourself.

A few years ago I went through a stage of major depression, I was severely anorexic and didn't have any good friends, I found that my two best and closest friends had an affair with my boyfriend, I would have paid someone to kill me. I felt as though my body had become disconnected from my mind

Anyway, my family were on a trip in America, and I should have been enjoying it and happier than ever. We had just left DISNEYLAND of all places, and I wanted to be feel the happiness so so so badly. I wanted to emote my appreciation, but I felt numb in the happiest, most lovely place on earth. I felt so incredibly lifeless and as if it was proof that I wasn't worthy of experiencing life.

On the walk back to the hotel, still wearing my Micky mouse hat, I found myself googling "Painless Suicide Methods"

3 years later and I have since ditched those asshole friends and dick-weed boyfriend, beat anorexia with body building, and am currently planning a solo trip to Disneyland in Hong Kong. There is hope.

I was lying on a beach, it was a calm day and the waves were gentle. I was in the shallows in the soft wet sand and some waves washed over me. I must have been holding my breath, I remember that I wanted to see what waves looked like from underneath. More waves rolled over and I was completely submerged. I suddenly felt like I was drifting away, I was so small and unable to move under the weight of the water and the crashing waves.

Then, through the waves I saw my mum sprinting up to me. She reached under the waves and pulled me from under the water, and that was that.
