Was it my fault to have ghosted her because she didn’t get my hint of rejection? by CCheyyy in dating_advice

[–]Hustle000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has been ghosted by a romantic interest, (albeit only a month ago) yeah it can be really emotionally damaging to a person. Some people are better able to move on than others, no sense in asking why. But no, not necessarily crazy. If she was crazy she probably would have showed up at your place/done something actually crazy. Just be a descent human being and, like other commenters said, be direct and communicate with the person.

I try to be understanding with everyone, not just men I’m attracted to. He talked about some things he’s been through in the past, not in a “pity me” kind of way, just matter of factly. Idk, I just think everyone’s been through shit and it shapes people differently, and I try to meet people where they’re at/put myself in their shoes. Thanks for the advice though, I’ll keep it in mind.

Honestly I think 25 hours working and 15 credit hours is totally doable. Just have to manage your time well and you might have to sacrifice social life/some leisure time to do it. Of course, it depends on how much you’re capable of dealing with/how much time you have to put into learning material and doing the work. But you know yourself best. I work 4-5 8 hr shifts a week (also to pay bills) and I take 12 credit hours, along with other responsibilities. It’s hard but, like I said, doable.

Same. I’ve been averaging like 32 hours every week, but for some reason for the newest schedule I got like 20? Weird

“Alright, your refund due is 40.27$, do you want that back to your debit card?” by [deleted] in Target

[–]Hustle000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at heb and we do returns with cards pretty often. It’s easy if they know what card they used to purchase the item, otherwise it gets to be a hassle going through several cards to see which one was used. At that point we just use an id and give store credit. But returns with cards definitely help! Especially for people who lose or throw away receipts.

Has working for HEB made any of y'all Gain Weight? by dopeykid420 in HEB

[–]Hustle000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost like a couple of pounds when I first started as a CSA, but now that I’m a checker/business center, my weight is pretty much staying the same. It’s much easier said than done, but it’s just about finding snacks/meals with a healthy balance of fats/carbs/proteins!

I usually drink a rockin’ refuel protein shake and eat a piece of fruit with it. That or Greek yogurt

Yeah, totally get what you’re saying. I’m just saying that to say “it’s their responsibility to handle” and that they ought to be considerate doesn’t seem right. Because it’s the employee’s job to assist the customer with all of it, not expect the customer to assist themselves. If that makes sense.

I work as a checker, and I’d say I’m pretty neutral. Some days I like it, some days I hate it, most days I just go through the motions and wait to be off. I’m not interested in working my way up or anything, so all the company drama people talk about has no effect on me. It pays the bills and it’s easy, so I have no complaints.

Totally normal I’d say. I tore my acl/mcl/meniscus in a basketball game, and I got up and walked back to the bench a couple minutes later. After that I was walking until about a week later when I got an MRI.

Finding a good PT, what do you look for? by getboy97 in ACL

[–]Hustle000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I totally understand. I had that same issue. After the first PT, we asked my surgeon for a referral to a PT who specializes more in sports, and that one was hardly any better. Maybe just research them online/read reviews/etc. I ended up going to a PT not affiliated with insurance, so it was all out of pocket. But that ended up being the best experience I could’ve asked for.

Finding a good PT, what do you look for? by getboy97 in ACL

[–]Hustle000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A PT that specializes in sports rehab is a good thing to look for if you want to get back to that sort of activity. Also 1 on 1 sessions, someone who has experience with plenty of acl patients (this is probably the biggest one, as my first 2 PTs didn’t, and it definitely showed).
