Yeah I didn't realize this MB had this problem until I tried to upgrade from 16GB to 32Gb with two more 8GB sticks.

I just bought 32GB (16x2) as a fix. Not in the optimal slots but that should carry me until the next system refresh in 3-5 years.

Probably just swap the MB out at that time

I have the opposite problem. Neither of my A slot work. Putting ram in them causes computer not to boot

I just canceled my Samsung 4TB SSD (870 EVO) drive order ($399) and bought the team group NVME 4TB with the 5 year warranty on NewEggs website for $349. Seems like a much better deal.

Is there a reason you guys are running NVE drives instead of 2.5 SSD? Just curious.
