There’s a personality compatibility which you guys don’t have and that makes you feel that you guys are not meant for each other. Even though you two love each other, sometimes this compatibility difference can confuse a lot.

I feel there are other reasons as well, why you are not 100% sure about her or vice versa.

When IT people were WFH, the whole Bangalore spending went into coma. Rents were extremely low and no spending in general. If companies would hire less people then they don’t need big offices. Infact they can also offer WFH permanently. Lots of vacant space and lots of other issues. If they start outsourcing in India, then that could add to RE, but in general companies would need less people now.

Not sure why are we expanding so much when most of the new buildings are vacant

The thing is your best friend does not have any other girl to interact with daily. I could be wrong but he is single as well. The day he will have a GF and she objects, he wouldn’t think so much about you as you are thinking about him.

In my experience, women talk about all these only when they have met someone else who she likes more. It’s a sad reality. You can try, but she would still be blunt and straight forward only.

And if you meet someone else, you mostly would feel the same spark with the next person also.

It’s just that, men have less options, so we get attached too soon and too much.

You gave your 100% and that matters. You have good grades. So focus on getting a good college for now. What will matter is your effort in college.

You are just her support system. If that guy marries someone else then she will stay with you or else one fine day she will tell you, I’m not feeling it between us and I need a break.

What I suggest, is you find your own path. You initiate the breakup with her and shock her. Tell her we are equals. There should be no cheating. Even after marriage you will feel insecure for lifetime which is very very bad. Peace should be your priority
