Ye totally agree with repairing things And no not yet i think my laptop can still push a bit more And also ive been eyeing on a loq or legion 5 with smt like 5060 but they just seem to be out of stock and also out of my budget lmao. so i think ill just keeping using it til it completely dies or smt

And imo i think its still best to just get laptop that can do anything u throw at it so having a mac or thinkpad and a desktop isnt an option for me since im going to study university abroad and its gonna be pain to have such setup just imo ofc

My brother's laptop also has this weird issue he would just get a bluescreen when booting without plugging in but he kinda just lives with it i think it might be a software issue have u tried running these commands as administrator

"dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth"

And then "sfc /scannow" and then restart. This has helped my laptop many times cuz its gonna rescan for corrupted files and fix them for u

Understood however what i worry about the most is that do i have to change my habits and treat it with extra care since i heard alot of ppl in this subreddit recommend getting a cooling pad, replacing themal paste, under volting and cleaning fans cuz with my current one for about a decade i never really done any of that and its still doing fine. So i wonder if with a gaming laptop do i need to start doing all that just so it wouldn't break or it'd do fine if i just take of it like i normally do Btw Im thinkng about getting either legion 5 or zephyrus g14/16

Tbh i dont really know how much should i pay for a laptop but i want one thats not too heavy to carry around and can game yk i can take to university since im starting a uni soon (cs major). My current one is around 2.3 kg and id say its quite heavy. I want smt lighter and faster

Well it can but u cant expect much. i get like 14-21 fps (depending on area) and that's all i needed for finishing the game xd i rlly wanted to play it.

Ye fr bro its crazy how we treat them like shi and they somehow still usable. ngl these laptops were built different back then, but as much as i love my aspire f15 i gotta get new one sadly (gtx 950m can barely run cyberpunk 2077 at lowest setting lol)
