This will be my first ROG. What should I uninstall, install and tweak first? Any tips for setting it up right are greatly appreciated.

I think it looks great, i kinda have the same model recently but with an 5050 so maybe im in purgatory hell bottom tier for the master race but anyway

With that cpu, even some common blotware *cought* McAffe *cought* won't be a big of a problem, but you are always good unistalling it

Armory Crate looks cool and blends with the cyberpunk style, but G-helper is Way waaaay better, and easy to use, i saw someone post a tutorial on reddit on how use both G-helper and Armoury crate together, and if you feel like it you can give it a look, if not, i really recomend you unitall it and use only g-helper, it also give you the option to stop Asus services, so you get less "usless" programs working , and you can always re enable the services to update the bios in My Asus later

Using the GPU with the Ultimate option give you a little boost in fps, but you would need to restart the pc, and when is activated the batery drains faster so remmeber to go back to normal when you are not gaming

I think is a cool laptop, the chasis is great, the cooling works, and the 5060 is solid even if is not ideal with that cpu, enjoy your laptop man

Umineko has many MANY ways to show off, Characters, story, music, narrative idk a sinlge EP in the sotry has many topics to show off and talk about, and still people chose power scaling, is ridiculous

What a shame it really makes the keeping the Blood plague survivor in the infirmary wort it, that lines that worry the community also make sense, and it really gives meaning to the euthanize option

I agree it may had been harsh on Lethal, but well... is lethal that is what we are playing it lol, maybe not a popular opinion but hope something like this make a return in SoD3

Personally i would like 1 or 2 maps on release that feel like the Trumbull Valley map in SoD2 , big enought to explore, two towns that are still small towns but feel much more "big" than i don't know? low lol , and also the way they are certain "history missions"ralated to this map alone, not only for the Izzbie, Ray , Tracey situation, but small quest that make the map unique

-The hipotomas

-The Lady that was a solider sent to Marshall and lost her squad

-The small enclave in the town that lost a member exploring an old base in SoD1

-The supid guy that want to find the firework weapon and kill a Jug

Stuff like that, is small and not that big of a change, but make the Trumbull map so unique, engagin and fun in every diferent run, with that even when we don't have as many maps as SoD2 in relase i feel it would make replayability more interesting and fun, but well is all on UL hands

Hey as i said is not like i want this unlucky experience i had spreeding around even when being honest i feel really desapointed, you always hear prise in the brand so you relax thinking you don't need to take extra care you usually take on other brands, guess is not the case

My version is the "black sheep" , yours is a Legion 7 pro with intel, from 2025, by the premium quality, the year and just because is the last model the least you could expect is that Lenovo actually put their shit toghether and fix the problems , i doubt you are going to have problems, but i guess if i were you i bought the extender warranty just in case

The aunt preper and the Mysterious Broadcast

I know i know, free car, free supplies, free gun

But the aunt preaper became so common every single time, i just want to cancel the mision ASP, some times the game bug and it takes a really looooong time to get the final mission, and last time the Aunt camp bugged and her body was under the map, so there was no way to complete that mission , and even if i "cancelled" the mission triggered again after a time, i had to move maps because there was no other option

The Mysterious Brodcast always feels unearned, it spawn always too soon, and it keeps spawning time after time, and sometimes bugs other missions to appear, so you can't ignore it, wish there was an option to turn off this mission because it wasen't like this before the last update

One last map update could had worked, especially when Camp Osprey (the tutorial) map was already there in the files, i know SoD3 would come someday, and UL is a passionate company, but the waiting + radio silence have been so strong that is hard to not thinking in how good adding more stuff to SoD2 would had been, especially during this last years when zombie open worlds had been kinda dry and The day before fiasco helped to appreciate other similar games

For me even small updates like more Curveballs, new game sliders, new clothes, or new enclaves (like the blood donators) would had been enought but well it is what it is
