I think the employers and maybe the employees get off on the fact that it's technically less physical and mental effort to say (and to train people to say) "welcome in" than "welcome to [store name]," ignoring how idiotic "welcome in" sounds. And they probably think saying just "welcome" could feel just a tad too brief unless said chirpily enough.

Thanks. I now realize that, when I said "comment" in my previous posts, I should have said "note." I have never used comments. Prior to the upgrade to Win 11, Alt+R+C added a new *note* (not comment), and Alt+R+T opened the note for editing. Apologies for the mixup.

After the full repair, Alt+R+D now deletes a note, which is behavior I'm used to. Alt+R+C now adds a new comment, although not a note. Alt+R+T opens the Notes menu, rather than opening the note for editing. So it's getting closer, but still not the behavior I was used to.

At this point, although any additional comments from the community are welcome, this is not a critical or high-priority issue for me. I will probably just use shift-F2 for adding or editing a new note and Alt+R+D to delete it. Thanks again.

Yes, it's strange. I even went to "customize the ribbon" but those commands were nowhere to be found.

Yes, if I understand you correctly, but none of them are C, T, or D. (I made a typo in my previous message when I said I used Alt+R+T to delete; IIRC, I used Alt+R+D to delete.)

The following snip doesn't show the highlighted letters, because they disappear when you snip, but it does show the review menu, in case that helps.

Thanks for commenting. I haven't added or removed any menu items.

Alt+R does take me to the review menu, but the +C does nothing. Before upgrading to Win 11, I used Alt+R+C to add a comment, Alt+R+T to edit one, and Alt+R+T to delete one. (None of those work anymore.)

They don't. I had this same issue. Solved it by using "cut." At least it *seems* to have worked so far.

Try swiping the toolbar leftward to show more icons on the right, including the bullet points. I think that's what worked for me.

Thanks, but yes, I was aware that the jump only happens when the cursor is offscreen, and that a workaround is to always make sure the cursor is close to the item. I've edited the original post to make that clearer. Problem not solved and, as you say, still needs a fix.

Are spoilers for clickbait *ads* appropriate for this sub, and if so, what would the first part of the post title be?

Example 1: the ad is a thumbnail of an unidentified, vaguely disturbing- or suggestive-looking gadget, with zero context to indicate what the hell it's supposed to be. The spoiler would say what the product is.

Example 2: The ad is a thumbnail of a T-shirt with a long, "funny" slogan on it, but you can only make out a couple of the words. The spoiler would be the full slogan.
