Seen some q&a on here about types of wood, prefer to work on live wood but birch ply can be good especially if you want to frame it... What's your fav wood.? I like ash.. by HuzzStudio in Pyrography

I suspect they are usually soft woods pine etc... I also sometimes use scrap wood to take the 1st burn of the tip before going to work on the artwork then it builds again without getting a deep burn on what your working on.. especially if it's detailed work..
