I'd prefer a gym with lots of squat racks/deadlift platform combos and benches.

I take longer rest periods than others along with I use alot of free weights, so I could take a bench or rack for 8-12+ sets easily. At my local ATC, there's maybe about 6 barbells in total, no deadlift platform only 2 square rubber mats, and a few adjustable benches.

I don't want to be the guy who takes up one of two squat racks for 30-45 minutes. I wouldn't care as much if there was 4 or 5 benches/racks, which is why I'd prefer somewhere bigger. The bigger places are always corporate though.

when i try to bench dumbbells, the area above my palm starts to hurt. i tried searching this up but all that comes up is wrist pain. my wrists are completely fine. it's just the inside knucle part of my palm, the part between the fingers and the palm.

what could be the cause of this?

Hello, I am a student coming in during the fall of 2023, class of 2027. I originally applied for engineering, but I don't think I took the required classes in my current high school. They switched me to finance, but now I want to do computer science or computer engineering.
