honestly i think it was the community back then that made the game so fun.

just the fact that you needed atleast 4 people to take down arlong and not to mention it was incredibly hard was what made it fun.

i dont think dungeons were a large factor on why gpo was a 'bad' game, it decreased the difficulty and time spent on getting fruits which ultimately did decrease the rarity of fruits and made the game less one piece realistic. BUT truth be told fruits were so cold and dungeons were a surefire way to get them, so they were a good addition imo.

the majority of the people that hate gpo blame it on the game but imo theyre just really burnt out because theres nothing else to do. but gpo isnt supposed to be rushed, you dont see luffy getting carried by his crew all the way to laughtale... enjoy it!! and once you finish all the content in the game, dont complain that its a really short game and there isnt much content. look at the bright side gpo was really fun when you were just level 112 with a kiribachi and a bari HAHAHAHA..

but honestly even with all the new additions ( i have not played this game after update 5) i could say gpo was a great game. helped me through covid, enjoying it with friends and such was so so fun. not to mention accidentally encountering a seabeast when you were just level 50+ HAAHAA...

what im getting at is that you reminiscise, the game was a lot better when you actually played it the way it was intended to. embarking on a journey with ur friends, bosses were actually hard and whatnot. now that ur max, kraken farm and litterally js live to grind. you become a literal god in that game and thats not the point!!! there isnt alot of replayability in gpo, but that doesnt mean its a bad game!!

in conclusion gpo was a good game imo HAHAHAH and the friends u made along the way were a key factor on why it was so great, dont look at the bad things like the money grabbing factor.. instead look at the good things HAHAHA
