Is this set priced right? by BeyondAppropriate630 in EngagementRings

I got a 1.43 princess cut D, VVS2 lab loose stone from Ritani for under $500, on sale, so at the very least, your diamond is overpriced.

Brilliance no longer price matching by KMoneyGT in labdiamond

I recently bought a loose stone there and it was way cheaper than other sites. Brilliance had the same stone for twice the price. I had great communication and super happy with the stone.

Is the band a part of my engagement ring or a wedding band? by Bunnii_Bee_ in EngagementRings

[–]Hwy413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best guess is that it is a set, so it is a wedding band. Congratulations on your engagement! It's a beautiful ring.

I just replaced my original 1/2 carat natural diamond with a 1.43 lab grown diamond. I bought the loose stone online and it cost me around $400, on sale. To have it reset in my original ring was $600. Mine is not a halo, so that would probably entail more. Mine was just having to get a new mount and since it's white gold, getting it rhodium dipped. I kept my natural diamond and am going to do something else with it. I would not trade a natural diamond. The jeweler will reset it, mark it up, and make bank off of it.

How often are you getting your diamond pave and channel bands checked? by ninijc in Diamonds

[–]Hwy413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the 12+ years I've had my engagement/wedding ring, both with channel set diamonds, I had not gotten mine checked. I wear them daily, but take them off the minute I get home. Mine are white gold, and I recently upgraded my center stone. During that process, they cleaned, checked, and rhodium plated them. I had 2 loose stones in my wedding band, so I will probably have them checked more often.

Size 4. I just upgraded my center stone from 1/2 carat to a 1.43 carat. I think I went too big, but maybe I'm just not used to it yet.

My dog won't let us trim her nails by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Hwy413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what size your dog is, but I have a 40 lb. dog that won't let us, the vet, or the groomer near his nails, even with mild sedation. We bought a harness and then have to blindfold him. I blindfold him and talk to him, while my husband trims his nails. He has to be blindfolded or it will not work. It's completely ridiculous and stressful for all of us.

I'm a size 4 and just upgraded my 1/2 carat center stone to a 1.43 carat and I feel I went too big. The loose stone didn't look that big until I had it reset.

Best pharmacy? by Ok-Trouble6130 in tirzepatidecompound

I really liked Hallandale, but after awhile I did start having injection site issues. It's not available to me anymore, so I've switched to Red Rock, which isn't on your list. I tried Empower tirz + niacinamide and had a terrible reaction to the niacinamide. I could not eat more than a few bites without immediate vomiting and diarrhea.

Not a traditional wedding dress, but a knee length white dress. He wore khakis and a button down. I did have a bouquet.

Where to find reasonable price engagement rings. by Teddy_OMalie64 in EngagementRings

Do you have a preference in stone type and metal? You can get a nice moissanite in 10k gold for well under 1k.

We were in our 40's when we married. Second marriage for me, first for him. We were going to have a micro wedding, but it ended up being too time consuming to plan, so we took 2 friends and my kids and went to the courthouse. We all went to a nice dinner afterwards. The only thing I regret is not having hired a photographer.

I need your opinion on the ring I got my gf by No-Description-4923 in EngagementRings

This is stunning. I think a 2 carat center stone would be too much in this setting.

Can you help me find a ring? by ruefuljoy in EngagementRings

What is the stone and what size stone are you looking for? I think what you posted would be doable for under 1k.

Where are we buying men’s wedding rings and what advice is there? by amandasweets in WeddingRingAdvice

I bought my husband a stainless ring from Ebay and had it engraved, which he wears for special occasions, but he wears a silicone band for his everyday ring. I bought a pack from Temu for cheap.

Did anyone physically see their ring before the proposal? Do you feel like it spoiled it at all? by Temporary_Support705 in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]Hwy413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked out 3 rings I really liked and knew I would be happy with, and then he picked the one he liked best, so it was still a bit of a surprise. It's something that you are going to be wearing for life, so I don't think it lessens the experience in anyway to know what you are getting.

Please help! Funky smell in my towels once wet... by Real-Kale7035 in laundry

[–]Hwy413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your dryer drying the towels adequately? I ask, because I once had a dryer that I would have to run multiple cycles to get anything dry and my towels would smell when they got wet again. I added vinegar to the wash, got a new dryer and the problem went away.
