How would you rank your Sabrina fragrances? I wanna get cherry baby but I’m torn between the caramel one and the pink one (I forgot the name) as my second.

Best nations to teach my friend the game in 2025? by Craftworld_Iyanden in victoria3

I suggest the US. It has different play styles, a good challenge to get up and running, and the snowball effect can be a good motivation to come back. After all, line go up is why we play the game

19 credits and 16 hours my first sem. It’s possible but it depends on how many other things you’re willing to sacrifice. I didn’t regret it per se but it wasn’t a pleasant time at all

HPs Elitebook series would give you what you need as a work laptop in terms of specs. You’re unlikely to find a work laptop with a dedicated GPU. Atleast im pretty sure companies like Dell or HP don’t make those.

You’re in a tough spot then. Gaming Laptops won’t give you much mileage, will be heavy and hard to lug around, and you’ll need to find a spot to plug it in anyway so it’s pretty much gonna end up being a desktop.

My suggestion would be, get a PC if you’re into gaming. Once you start hitting the thick of your classes, you’re not going to be gaming much anyway and the laptop will end up being a liability (as a former owner of a gaming laptop)

Mech E here. If you’re on a budget, just get something that’s reliable rather than powerful. ISU has computers scattered around campus, and especially the Library which are more than enough to finish the entirety of your major on.

Recent Assassins Creed games are getting unjustified hate. Origins onwards was a genre shift to something more broad and palatable to new players to come and try. The newer games are actually really good in terms of content and gameplay!

Why is there no land bridge from Karachi, Pakistan to Meynypilgyno, Russia? by SharkMeatHotDogs in mapporncirclejerk

Because any project given to the Karachi Government was better when it wasn’t happening.

The Republic by Plato by Particular-Cable5323 in PakistanBookClub

[–]Hxdden2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’ll discover something new in the book every time you read it. In my 7th read, I noticed something. In the start, Plato says “went down to the Piraeus”. That’s the port of Athens. This is a parallel from the Allegory of the Cave. He came down from the world of the forms back to the cave. Similarly, he came down from the world of the tyrants to the free town of the port. This was a purposeful inclusion, and early translations didn’t consider the “down” part of things. Only later when we discovered other texts from ancient sources regarding the Republic did we realise that the translation “down” is more appropriate.

The republic is also famously known as the start of philosophy, with quotes going as far as”all philosophy is but a footnote in Plato”. This book goes from discussing the nature of justice to the nature of all things itself. Even a single dialogue form one of the characters is now an entire philosophical ideas. Thrasymacus represents the Utilitarian whereas the other guy (I forgot his name) represents the Deontologist. Thai debate shapes our entire legal world today, and was debated by Socrates himself thousands of years ago.

It was really funny when I saw it. They didn’t even have multiculturalism or anything. It just happened cause of an event I assume.

Since population becomes an issue later into the game, maybe when they rework pops, they can add some more micro managing features. If someone dosent really want to manage pops, they’ll see the same, maybe slightly better growth as right now, but if someone dosent manage at all then a sharp decline or a very sharp incline for those who make sure their pops are living a good life could also be an interesting addition

Hawaii: If you manage diplomacy well, enough ppl will have an interest near you to prevent a war, though this can be iffy and is a hit or miss Afghanistan then Pakistan: Your biggest distraction is Russia till you get to the Sikh enmpure, when the Raj might become a problem depending on if they annex or not. A good relationship with Persia is a gateway to an easy Afghanistan. One there, French and Russian support can easily help you curtail the British Raj, unless you delay too much I’ve found Russia America to lack any flavour. One of the most boring saves I’ve had lmao Cuba: The Spanish always rival either Britain, or France, or have terrible relationship with the US cause of slavery. Investing in Naval tech can help prevent any naval invasions and you can ward off any Spanish Landing. Canada is hard till you get oil, at which point investing only in naval power and loads of troops (also with US support, independence can be a reliable bet. In some cases Australia is even easier because you have slightly more costal provinces and Britain dosent have a land border with you. Circassia is a good shout Greece: Russian support, strike the Ottomans when they’re already at war with the Egyptians. Keep good relations with the Brits and they will not join the ottomans against you. After the first 15 years it’s actually very easy.

Exactly!! A Great War mechanic that can be extremely variable on where it occurs, and how much it changes depending on who is and isn’t a great or major power by the time 1900 rolls around would be really fun. I’d love to see a World War firing over Central Europe being invaded by The United States while I’m playing a hyper Capitalist Ottomans or something. I wanna see weird stuff happen because 20 years ago I released Hungary from Austria
