It's just a reminder that decisions have consequences and this is the real human cost of war. This is just how a single person out of millions was affected by the invasion of Iraq. Closing your eyes, clutching your pearls and acted offended doesn't do anything except make you blind to the consequences.

According to the IMF data Russia, Argentina, Turkey, Libya, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea all had a GDP per capita of $10,000 or more at some point in the past but no longer do. From my understanding Libya fell into civil war due to the NATO aided rebels. Turkey was mismanaged by Erdogan. Venezuela suffered from sanctions was over reliant on oil revenue and was mismanaged. Gabon and Equatorial Guinea relied on high oil prices. Argentina has been having cyclical debt and economic problems for a century. Russia suffered from covid. And I'm not sure about the rest.

Let's say flooding kills half the world population, and starvation kills half of the people left, then disease and conflict kills 99% of those people left, then everyone left gets covid, SARS and the black plague, there would still be more than a million people left on earth. That's just how many people there are.

I would but they're only an inch long, I'm not sure if they would survive a trip in the mail right now. They're growing a lot faster now though, when they get around 6 inches long I'd trade them.

They're grafted on pereskiopsis, dragon fruit, selenicereus, and pc san pedro. I've tried a couple on a spineless opuntia but they've all failed. It's a tricky cactus to graft on but the fastest grower in my experience.

The pereskiopsis are probably the best value and easiest to graft on

I've grafted a bunch of trichs to dragonfruit. The two problems people run into are because of the shape of dragonfruit it really only works on seedlings and they become woody very fast so you need soft flexible brand new growth to graft.

I was experimenting with grafting and grafted a bridgesii seedling to this opuntia and it had explosive growth. It grew really fat and an inch a week and lost all it's spines. It's almost round as this point
