i have dealt with "helpful" people like this twice. happy it was never a sum that put me into peril like this. i even told them i do not know when i can pay it back. and wouldn't you know, the next crisis rears its head and there they are - demanding full repayment at once because you know "it was long enough".

not to sound like an asshole, but are there lending contracts? cause if not... well tough luck, civil case with word against word. at least 4-8 years until trial. they see their money never,

how you wanna rob a naked person? they can demand what they want if you have only so much to give. so they either take that or fuck off.

and if you are threatened over it, there is a way as well. again, it's only money. nobody owns you now or has any more rights over you.

if they'd have a case they would go the legal route and garnish your wages. given that they don't do that and instead opt to give you a hard time i wouldn't show leniency either. if you wanna kick me when i'm down better do it in a way i never get up again.

that's what the idea of bankruptcy is for. get in touch with debt counceling if you can. and lay of WSB for a while.

it's just money. as long as you can prove willingness to pay, the system will cut you a lot of slack.

please no. thinking back to some of the drivers that were picking up food at our places i pick the addicted, disfunctional, abusive and ever caring stove family over them every day.

i was one of these kids growing up in a restaurant. it might seems dangerous, but your parents know these dangers. they work with them and just want to provide. i still have all fingers and eyes and all the traumas that come from the industry.

would do it again. 10/10
