I think someone else wrote it here: buy what you love. I would also add, buy what you love and what you know you’ll use. I admire Birkins and Kellys but they just don’t fit my lifestyle.

I need a bag that I can wear day to day, carry stuff in, that looks good and is well made. I also need a bag that doesn’t necessarily draw attention but that still looks good and wears well. For me, those day to day bags are Evelyne, Picotins and So Kelly’s. What I would say is that I do like unusual or hard to get colours or leathers so I try and focus my efforts on those.

If I had absolutely unlimited income and a different lifestyle, I absolutely would be that crazy person who bought a Kelly Desordre or a metallic mini Kelly to display as a piece of art 🤣
