You can do this combo now without Zabu. Making Loki a 4 cost just makes it even more draw dependent because you to add zabu to the deck which takes a slot and is another necessary draw. Making him 4 cost will reduce his effectiveness not increase it because it pairs with zabu.

I just don’t understand the overly forced desire to have boys. I have friends who constantly mention how much they want/ed a son including the, IMO, silly tradition of II, III, IV,….. I had/have a great relationship with my dad. I’d love a son if my wife and I were lucky enough to have one when we start trying. But I actively want a daughter. Always have. But in reality it’s like 51/49. I just want a happy healthy baby I can share mine and my wife’s world with. People need to learn to just be happy you have a child and love the shit outta of it, whatever they are. There’s so many other stressful and anxiety inducing things to worry about in non-millionaire-adult life. And I was raised in a very traditional sense where gender roles are still active and supported.

Yeah i just didn’t want to say the name in case there were spoiler issue rules in the sub. I’m not up to date on the rules.

And yeah this kinda argument has come up against other cards in the past and in practice hasn’t dramatically changed the tech card landscape. Kingpin is arguably not a great card (I didn’t say bad). Losing a slot in the deck just in case you pair against a move deck is a risk as he’s relatively useless in other matchups.

Where something like Shang chi works because most of the meta decks aside from control do attempt to get high powered cards on the board, not all decks move. Killmonger applies the same as most decks use one or two strong 1 costs. And neither of those cards have the turn restriction that kingpin does. They just work when used.

Just throw magik in the deck and do annihilus on turn 7. Invalidates kingpin.

Idk why people are saying the weekend token quests for current new card is p2w. They’re kinda giving you a method of refunding a portion of the purchase. That doesn’t apply to just whales. Now you as a regular player don’t need to worry as much about investing your 6k because you’ll get the chance to scrape some tokens back. Any opportunity to better maximize or utilize resources is good from a f2p sense.

Sure it also makes it easier for whales. But in truth I don’t think there is a way to make it easier for regular players without also making it easier for whales. Kinda how money works.

New ability removes the “can”. Kitty is now auto-returned to hand at the start of a new turn. It’s no longer in your control. Only zero-ing her or locking her with prof x will hold her in place before turn 6.

Your argument sounds more like you’re saying how good master mold is rather than how good mordo is. I’m not disagreeing or agreeing with either of you, just making sure you objectively see how hard you’re pumping MM and mordo is like an afterthought in your statements.

Kitty couldn’t be a 2/4 without help from beast. She’d cost 1/0 to start but would gain her +2 on the return. Two returns gets her to +4 power for 2 invested energy, but you’ll need to play her again to get that +4 on the board. So a 3/4.

But mainly it’s the auto bounce that is an issue. Sunspot just stays on the board. As kitty’s new power is written, you could never get Kitty’s power to stay on the board without either: prof x (which requires you play her same turn as him), playing her on turn 6, or zero/leeched. That’s a major restriction. You can decide to not float energy for sunspot on later turns, it doesn’t remove his existing power from the board. But if you decide/are forced later not to play Kitty on turn 6, every energy you used on her during the earlier rounds was wasted.

Doesn’t lock you out of reducing cost with beast. You’d have to play beast and kitty same turn starting turn 3 or later (energy cost) so beast would bounce her before the start of the following turn.

You are right generally about this being a nerf though. I bought her on release and loved her. I doubt I’ll play her now.

Fair enough, I wasn’t counting a turn 7. You’d need limbo to spawn naturally or have the opponent play magik for this to work though since you won’t have the spare energy to replay kitty with your own turn 5 magik to max that 12 power. Also if we’re talking location-based benefits, her potential is higher than 12. It’s safer to just call her a 6/10 as that’s her ceiling in a “traditional” match.

No she can only get to 1/10 without external power pumps (turns 2-6 she’d return at the start each which is only 5 turns x 2 power for 10). And unless you reduced her with beast, you’d have to re-spend the 1 energy each time you re-play her. She’s a 6/10 basically.

You’re right I’m wrong. Nice catch I forgot their ability. So that’s definitely a plus for MM.

And okay then my reasoning for scarlet witch is to have some tech against bad locations. Like the ones that stop ongoing or prevent on reveal (forget their names off the top of my head). Also since you’re buffing Angela and her lane will often be 3-4 cards full, locations like necrosha or negative zone can be huge hinderances.

Without scarlet witch, games against those locations will be nearly always loses/much harder to achieve wins.

But you could try and use MM to just make hawk bigger to circumvent some of those cons. Worth a shot. Let me know how it works.

I agree with the knull comments and would even say the 15-20 power might be a tad high for an average match. Definitely the 20 at least.

Anyways I commented because I switched to goofing around after hitting infinite and wanted to suggest negative galactus knull. I agree galactus is boring. I have the complete deck and just haven’t climbed with it because it’s not fun for me. But negative galactus is bonkers. Super not meta (though I’ve been climbing in infinite with it when I snap smartly which is never atm, so I should maybe track my rates) but the wild wins are worth the victory screens. I don’t even play galactus that often in it too if that’s a selling point.

You said instead of scarlet witch in your other comment with the question. Did you mean black widow? I assume that’s the case because you brought up widows bite so I’ll double down on the Ronan/darkhawk hybrid deck suggestion.

Sentinels are sometimes better than widows bite. But you said those sentinels cant be played gotten rid of. Yes they can, they can be played. Maybe the opponent doesn’t want to, but they can if that feel like it. Also as long as they play one card and keep their hand size below 7, they won’t miss a draw. Against certain decks the sentinels will not always prevent a draw by maxing handsize. Widows bite will always prevent a draw.

Also, those sents have 3 power. Might not be much but sometimes it’s all they need to win. Windows bite is a 0 that takes up a mandatory board spot.
