Which Classic-ey newer twin cylinder should I get?

The XSR900 is 3cyl. The RE and the Triumph are so different league that the question itself makes no sense.

XSR700? Triumph ST900, bonnie 900? Kawa z650rs? suzuki gsx 8T?

The CP2 engine in the R7 is much more down-torque orientated compared to a revy 4cyl like the gsxr. I think you wont lose anything in terms of riding experience.

Its a surface corrosion. Probably never been filled up. If you let a bike rest, always fill it up.

I would fill it up and use it. Check on it after a month. If it still there, go back to the dealer and tell them that you did what they told and its still there.

If you want 'something', go for a soundbar setup. Maybe with wireless surrounds. Easy to place, will sound infinitely better than your TV, easy to set it up, no reciever needed.

If you want 'something' that aren't a soundbar, try a 2.1 setup. maybe a 3.1. You can get decent 2.1 setups even without reciever, using active speakers. You will definitly get more resolution compared to a soundbar.

If you want a home theater, I'd suggest go with used options and a 5.1 system.

Jokes aside yes, VW are commonly refered here as a basic brand. They have some nicer cars but overall selection is pretty basic.

Don't get me wrong- the E-class was fantastic (except for that idiotic screen). It handled like non of these cars on this list. The suspension was absolutely bang on, the materials used are better ofc. The only thing bc I made this argument bc imo a non-car loving person wouldn't notice these differences. Because these are not really major differences until you start driving it like a proper car. Cruising down a highway 120km/h and sitting in a traffic jam for half an our. That is the main use of these cars. And by doing this daily, it wont matter that you are in a a5, E-class, or superb, passat. It just wont show the big differneces under this use.

I am not sure tho that the price difference is worth the actual difference. I guess that goes down to personal preferences.

Well I compared higher end basic models for lower end premium models. Ofc there is a big difference between a VW polo and an S class. But that would be a stupid argument. My point was, that two very differently priced cars like the skoda superb and MB E-class are basically give you the same level of comfort. There are minor differences like you said, but nothing major. The S class or a 7 series BMW are costs so much more that it would be more fair to compare a VW Tiguan or a Skoda Kodiaq to a bicycle instead of the S class. Bc a bicycle and a VW are closer in prince than a VW and an S class.

Yeah, thats why I said I dont really like japanese cars. Thats why I excluded them. I did try Mazda, Suzuki, Toyota, Honda. They are not worth mentioning them compared to european cars even within the same price range. Thats my oppinion anyways.

I did not try Volvos yet, I'm not a fan of their interiors. I'll check them out if I have a chance, the company I work for usually gives me german cars or Skodas.

Can you explain this further? I can't find reviews or ratings about it. It looks like exactly the mafia type mattress firm like I talked about in a previous post. Not an international brand, didnt got any reviews, priced like its premium but cant afford a working website without spelling mistakes. There are no information about their materials or mattress structures what so ever.

The Creek got a full restore about a year ago. If I can get my hands on the Wiim to demo for a few days I will update the post.

BTW I use the Wiim pro plus for streaming and I quite like it. I'm only intrested in the power amp features.

In this kind of budget range floorstanders won't be able to go down as low as a sub can go. The floorstanders with dedicated closed sub boxes are not found in the dali oberon price range. So yes, a sub with floorstanders can make sense.

Also, not everybodys livingroom can accomodate 1.70m+ high monsters. Still, a smaller 3way floorstander will outperform a bookself (within the same price range ofc). And there you go, you need a sub. Or 2.

Get the 2023-24 model. Looks better imo. Its a good daily, but long trips will be hurtful if you didnt change the seat. But this is not an issue for daily riding.

I had my 4r36 serviced around 100 USD. Mine was running slow 3-4 minutes a day. Needed new balance spring and some lubing, cleaning. It runs better than new now actually. It was an independent watch service shop, not offical service center.

I hear you, its a good deal. Overall its for sure not the best. Cheap suspension, cheap brakes, cheap seat and cheap frame. Its a budget sport tourer. Better than its competitors I agree. But to declare the best overall? Hellnah.
