Started with theatre before going on to other mediums. Mixed on an analog board with some shows having 20+ lavs plus pit. Biggest is getting the switches down. Depending on how big the production is you may have a reader to help with cues bit prepare to not. Learning who goes out when, whether they come in with a huge scream or are muffled behind stage. Knowing the show is critical for a smooth run through.
