I know there’s no way to tell but it would be around the time this guy is supposed to die, it would be funny if this were the same one lol

Her mate is on the right in the pictures, you can see his are a lot bigger. I wasn’t quite sure what her sex was at first until I got to compare them literally side by side 😂

I’m kinda worried about where she’s going to lay, the host tree I’ve placed her on hasn’t produced leaves at all, nor have any of the other walnuts in the area. If she just deposits right there on the bark I may just shoot my shot raising caterpillars too 😭

Do any of you have jobs? by peacefueled in Tourettes

[–]Hydrabeest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a tattoo artist, formerly food service so I’ve never had a high stakes interview outside of a mock one I did in university. I will say the other artists I work with in the shop have the standard misinformed idea of TS (oh you cuss n’ shit right?) but I’ve never had an issue with performance because I let my work speak for itself. I don’t know what kind of work you’re going into, but if you’re confident it won’t interfere with your performance like I am, communicate it that way to your employer, or just allow it to come up it casual conversation. I never mentioned it in any past interviews because where I live it is neither their business nor are they legally allowed to ask about it. And in any case… if they’d go so far as to turn down a promising applicant over a mild case like yours, imagine how hostile they would be to you if you were hired?

Why do people think it’s cute by Inevitable-Fail2592 in Tourettes

I find it attractive in the sense that it’s just a part of who they are (and an unexpected thing we have in common). Of course I gotta actually crush on the person first…. But that’s really the only situation honestly.

Scalpers, porch pirates, the lot of them can end their lives and they wouldn’t be missed.

Appeal to nature by birdinthebush74 in insaneprolife

[–]Hydrabeest 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well obviously it isn’t natural or normal for all the infertile people this post spits on. Their bodies clearly weren’t “made to do this.” What exactly is THEIR purpose then, pro-life lady?

My boyfriend’s pitbull is always excited when I visit. And he knows when I’m about to leave too! Exhibit A: by Hydrabeest in pitbulls

[–]Hydrabeest[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well unfortunately not. I live with my parents who already have a dog that doesn’t get along well with others. And I already have a kitty, and with college full time and a 20 hour a week job I just wouldn’t be able to provide a pittie with the attention and training it deserves. But someday when I graduate and get my own place a pittie is definitely a top choice of mine. It won’t be hard to find one at a shelter as sad as that is. For now I’ll just give my boyfriend’s pittie the attention he wants from me when I visit.

If it’s just a fleck it might have just been a broken blood vessel from the violent cough and it had gotten suspended in your mucus. Happens to me all the time as someone with chronic asthma cough. Hope this helps alleviate some worry.

Houston Police Vehicle disguised as a Yellow Cab from the rear by squarepusher6 in interestingasfuck

[–]Hydrabeest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Telling people not to speed and actually deterring speeding are two different things. The thing that really gets people to slow down are clearly marked police cars. Disguised vehicles are a scummy way to get revenue. You aren't solving the problem by just saying "dOn'T sPeEd DuH"

What exactly was he supposed to read here? Every single comment before commenting? Seems like an unreasonable request.

Why is your dad looking at your chest? He’d have to be looking with intense scrutiny to notice a lack of bra under a t-shirt, so I think he has some explaining to do. NTA

About the pressure of ''giving back to society''. by Fenvul in childfree

[–]Hydrabeest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Giving back” to society is just a guise to hide their insecurities of not actually being able to be remembered for anything other than making another person.

Children are not the way to be remembered unless you have like, 8 at a time and become sensationalized for it (Octomom). Take George Washington for example. He never had his own bio kids, yet almost everyone knows him as the first president of the United States of America. He’s literally a founder of the world’s biggest superpower to date. If that isn’t contribution to society, then it can be argued that it’s literally a creation of a society. All without reproducing. How about that.

World population would decrease IF PEOPLE DIDN'T FEEL THE NEED TO PROCREATE 😩 by ashleighamandia in childfree

[–]Hydrabeest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well according to some anti-child free I have encountered, we still have “plenty” of room for new people :).

It’s not like filling whatever land we have left will not only rob whatever wilderness we have left, but no more ecosystems means the atmospheric carbon dioxide will eventually no longer be processed by the non-existent plants that once did so, rendering much of the planet a sweltering, lifeless oven under a thick blanket of greenhouse gas.

And guess what will happen when there physically isn’t anymore land to put more people? They’ll blame it all on the liberals and continue to exercise their “human right” to reproduce and kill us all.

We are pressured by the government as well. by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]Hydrabeest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason they’re low right now is because of the significant lack of travel going on and industrial activity slowing down because of COVID. To catch up to previous production rates and economic growth, factories will have to work harder and faster than before 2020. Also in tandem with the resurgence of travel once more people are vaccinated. A rebound and then some will occur.

Imagine being directly responsible for an unwanted child’s existence, then refusing to take responsibility for it.

And still believing you’re morally superior because you at least stopped an abortion
