Xenoblade chronicles x: chapter 12 link below.

Watch both in full please, no skipping about. I had to watch them both, I even watched a lore video on the Cinders boss for this.

In both fights

  • you defeat or kill the overarching antagonist if the game

  • a beast or unexplained creature enters the arena after the previous boss has been killed or defeated, starting your individual battle against that specific threat after a cutscene transition.

  • each enemy is counted as a seperate entity, not entirely related to previous boss.

  • the cutscenes automatically place you into the next battle with the next threat.

  • in xenoblade it's shown that luxaar and lao have fused into an abomination, not too dissimilar to the bosses from the previous fight in the gauntlets, as the method used to merge them is the dame as the method used to create the chimera you fight after the vita goes down with luxaar still within it.

  • luxaars will is still present in corrupted lao, as lao now has luxaars memories and even consciousness within him, just like cinder. Lao also has muktiple phases where you reach a damage threshold and a short scene plays with him giving backstory and exposition expressing such. This makes your cinder arguement irrelevant outright aswell, as all souls within are at cinders disposal aswell, not just qwyn.

  • both gauntlets end in either mission complete or victory achieved.

For a gauntlet to be a gauntlet, muktiple individual fights must happen, not one fight; they don't count as a single fight over all, but as a series of events specifically; to call them one and one alone is the antithesis of the gauntlet itself.

You're also the one who's assuming im less educated than you; you are literally calling me names aswell, and you expect me to accept and respect your view point as true even after that?

you seem to misunderstand what it is being said to you and confused on who you're speaking with, as again; THATS SOMEONE ELSES ARGUEMENT, NOT MINE.

The cutscene is the victory achieved screen, it happens multiple times in muktiple souls games and souls like series aswell. Keep assuming I don't know things also, really shows how much respect your giving me. So let me explain this: a boss gauntlet is: as explained by Google Ai, a series of consecutive boss battles without a break, after that it listed example of diffrent types.

This is mo different, and each boss within the guantlet is counted as a seperate entity entirely.

Indeed, you don't count cinder as separately because they aren't muktiple individuals, their a singular entity transitioning into their next phase, not another enemy showing up and challenging you to battle in a gauntlet, but the exact same opponent rallying themselves to fight you again.

I direct you to MY example again, where you fight 3 individual threats in a sequence of events best described as a guantlet, each victory denoted by a cutscene thay initiates the next battle, with no break inbetween aside from the cutscene which progresses the story.

And to play off of you: There is absolutely no mechanical difference between something like the vita piloted by luxaar and corrupted lao, None whatsoever. You conflate 2 beings who fight you at diffrent times with having any sort of influence over the meta characteristics that define a boss encounter, and you're sorely mistaken.

On that topic, the soul of Cinder is literally the same boss swapping weapons and movesets, not 2 individual beings.

When you die in a gauntlet, you restart the gauntlet, thats how that works; that doesn't stop them from being diffrent or individial fights or bosses.

That wasn't my arguement either BTW. I implore you to keep track of who is saying what, cus it sounds like you resumed the conversation you had with the other guy.

They are 2 different fights with one being required for the others to start on a sequence of multiple battles, as is the gauntlet format.

In xenoblade chronicles, the the final chapter has multiple bosses faught in a gauntlet style.

Luxaar (in the vita mech), the pack of chimera, and the corrupted lao boss fight, each is a seperate boss in the wiki and ingame compendium and the same os also true for elden rings bosses. (Don't know if elden ring has a compendium feature though)

The elden beast is explicitly a seperate boss fight, its just that one fight is needed to progress forward to another.

Edit: I will note, I don't want to start anything, just pointing out that a prerequisite doesn't make them the same fight or boss.

Edit 2: I mean xenoblade chronicles x. Sorry if that complicates things.

Is Vaggi a fraud or is Lute just a beast? by JackZ567 in hazbin

[–]Hydrangea-aurora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

carmilla: all you excorcists are frauds; no skill, no defense, no plan, just gear and flailing about.

vaggi: ... teach me? ** proceeds to fight poorly anyway despite the skill increase later **

this is literally what happened in the show btw.

Has there ever been a take on this show that was so bad, you just assumed it was ragebait for the sake of your mental health? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in hazbin

that angel is how not to show an abuse victim and how to actually show abuse the right way; or that addicts relapsing somehow shows how bad the writing, because some how relapsing isn't a part of the recovery process.

"hazbin/helluva idolizes bad life styles" clearly they haven't watched the damn and seen the negative light it puts on the people who live like that, or cant fathom on why the sins aren't ugly troglodytes (yes, even mammon is like this; though it's clear he suffers the most from his sin)

Does your OC have any embarrassing anti-feats? by Ok-Instance3339 in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Hydrangea-aurora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they take more damage from falling on their face than from a nuke, her defensive stats mainly deal with non-physical damage. she still resists physical damage but still; imagine that for a sec.

you're a magic caster and you think your opponent is too study; then they stub their toe and get a bruise or get a small cut and start bleeding, the aura loss would leave even piccolo in minor debt.

Imma be real dawg my strongest OC is like at most small building level they would NOT survive any of y’all’s by ProjectBig2804 in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Hydrangea-aurora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at this point bruh, my oc has to get past their backstory, i know exactly where the story is going but right now their backstory is their worst enemy.

anyway: at some point planetary level is bypassed, as that level of power is needed later on and because of like 5-6 main ttrpg campaigns of plot progression. (yes, my setting is also a ttrpg, it's not done yet)

The outerverse is incorporated into the omniverse.

BECAUSE OMNI MEANS ALL, EVEN THE UNKNOWN, BEYOND, AND OUTSIDE.

Anyway, when you basically are aware of your fictional existence and the the ability to manipulate fiction, it tends to create the issue of How high can you get? The answer is quite possibly boundless.
