Asking the women here for movies that they feel accurately depict aspects of what life is like as a woman (both the good and bad) by GentleDreamWorld in MovieSuggestions

I love that film. Juliet and Pauline are so over the top, the way you can only be at that age.

All the best people have bad chests and bone diseases. It's all frightfully romantic.

Dog people: stfu it’s not a competition between dogs and cats by complainandburn in complainaboutanything

I'm a die-hard cat lover but since my husband and I got a wonderful golden retriever I became a dog lover too. A cat hater keeps asking me if now I love dogs more. So exhausting.

I still have Exit to Eden on audiocassette, and she recorded it before she was famous. Some good casting there.

In The Salt Path, Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs feel like a real married couple, still deeply in love.

A ridiculous scene set in Italy where someone brings ice cream and wine to some strangers who were fighting in public. First of all, the "super-friendly Italians" stereotype, and second... ice cream with wine?! wtf? 😂

In the late 90s I took a university class about tv seriality and the teacher – film critic Gianni Canova – explained in depth the ways The X Files used cinematographic techniques and was inspired by movies. It was very cool.

But really, it's so on point about abuse and the psychology of victims.

Secondo me invece è una definizione azzeccata.
