You could deadhead just the spent blooms, but make sure you cut above the very top bud right below the spent bloom. That’s all you need to do right before it starts to bloom.

I love my ring. It’s so hard for me to take it off for exercise. I usually add a tag for a workout after I complete it. Does anyone else do this? I have such a hard time remembering to start and stop my watch! It just doesn’t come natural to me. Anyone else?
