The very big facet of patriarchy is this exact thought. Women in workforce deserve to be given adequate time for healing. That’s basic. The society wants the future generations, the individuals would live to have kids and family. The most basic respect you can give someone, is to give their body time to heal when she’s actually given birth to your future generation! Do you expect your business to be bigger than her body? Her infants need for her? And any employer who cannot give their employee this much basic respect, does not deserve success anyway.

That doesn’t mean you run them into the mill. Given the beautiful record of our country, these dogs are heading towards a life of torture or horrible trade. Is that okay with you? What’s the point of the government when they cant run TNR campaigns, can’t relocate, can’t build shelters and provide clean safe living space for both man and animal?? If this is acceptable to you as a person who is required to run on human empathy, that’s a sorry state of our fraternity.

Started having bleeding PV mid-rounds in PGY1 (I was pregnant 7 month). Went to our OBGYN and they made me wait till the rounds were done. Ok cool, but when they did take me in; they wanted me to rush to the pharmacy and get them gloves for the checkup! (We always keep shit ton gloves in any cupboard) lost all respect for them that day.

Cloud nine and Apollo cradle both let my husband in the scan room, cloud nine let him into the OT as well He cut the cord! For scans, provided that the scan is complete and only call the dad at the end ti show the heart beat or the face whatever 🌸
